Welsh National Theatre's Stage & Screen Writers’ Scheme project sounds like a writers dream until you think about it got 5 seconds. Getting commissioned to write a play while developing a TV adaptation is I think a silly idea and also heavily restricts the theatre that you can pitch.

I've had some really annoying emails over the last few weeks people never getting back to me about meetings, a org not reading my email replying about another thing then not responding when I correct them. It's just frustrating cause like what can I do but email them and expect more frustration.

Playing the demo for The Adventures Of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. Okay I'm sold damn this seems very very charming and good to play. Inspired by Ys in no small part and plays like some of my favourites from the series. The 2.5 aesthetic as always is incredible to see.

Okay hit credits on 007 First Light. This game freaking rules what a bloody great experience. I cannot wait to see what IOI do with it going forward. The mix of liner narrative action and social manipulation levels and stealth sections all work to build the fantasy. The writing is solid too.

The reason 007 First Light works is because the writing team have correctly identified the most consistent era of Bond is For Your Eyes Only to The World Is Not Enough and has taken inspiration from that era.

The most impressive thing about 007 First Light so far is that it has working mirrors. Not to take away that it's super solid. I'm enjoying it.

Assassin's Creed Rogue is actually a pretty solid game. I think Shay despite his repeated catchphrase offers a pretty engaging journey he has clear character motivation that lead him to play the other side of the Templar Assassin war and I think gameplay wise they kinda perfect the 4 systems.

Overall Season 5 of the Boys has some good ideas but gets muddied in a bunch of stuff that kinda feels like spinning wheels and set up for other shows. It does leave you with satisfying conclusion for the core cast but I think its way less effective than seasons 3 and 4.

I'm loving Lego Batman Legacy Of The Dark Knight. I know one of the concerns has been around the depth of the bat family inclusion but I think TT have kinda oversold the games span of Batman's career it's much more of a first 5 years kinda thing. So for me it works alright.

Zeztz yeah I think that's the first choice I really hated. Imagine being so dedicated to the idea the only female rider needs to get written out you do it 3 times. Such a shame it seems to be permanent this time deserved a bunch better.

So I'm playing AC Black Flag and damn i forgot how engaging the story gets, I can see why they want to do the glossy remake. James Kidd's storyline is surprisingly solid even with its bloody depressing ending.

I know my mental health is bad when I sit and play an Assassin Creed game for hours. I'm currently in 4 at my never ending attempt to play them all in order. I played 3 last year started 4 then stopped. Managed to do 1-3 in the space of a few months then hit the one we supposedly like and stop.

Got told the reason I'm not getting work is a thing I can't fix and then asked the people advising me this what I could do they basically had no answer. So yes I'm deeply depressed and upset. I've literally got a trip to see my favourite musical and I feel no excitement.

Batman Forever is perhaps even more frustrating than the two previous films because I actually think it's way closer to being good. Batman/Bruce is actually a character in this film, I really like the Robin inclusion and if the film was all that I might really like it.

I guess I liked Batman Returns better even if the villains are deeply nonsensical. I really like Selina Kyle until she becomes Catwoman and then she is sometimes interesting sometimes deeply disappointing. But I guess overall at least Batman was around more. I think the romance got one good scene.

I'm glad Zeztz has grown to this kinda consistently good place. There are some rough early monster of the week episodes but when the twists start twisting I think the show has stayed consistent enough that it's one of the better modern Rider shows. I like it a bunch.

Young Sherlock is a weird show, its production values are incredible and there are some super charismatic actors on screen. It's not really a mystery even less than the Richie Sherlock Homes films I quite enjoy despite their flaws. It's honestly closer to a Bond film by the end.
