I've finally been listening to the audiobooks of Dungeon Crawler Carl. It is everything that folks promised and lives up to all the hype. I'm a good ways into the 2nd book and the best part is I've been listening to it together with my wife.

My wife: "So for your birthday, did you want the audio books, ebooks, or physical copies of the Dungeon Crawler Carl books?" Me: "Yes."

I ran both my account and my wife's accounts for Pokemon Go today during Gofest. She had to work and she didn't want to miss some of the Mega pokemon raids. Holy hell. My brain feels like pudding from trying to do all that at once.

Just saw how the White House is going to bailout the god-awful movie that Melania Trump made. Isn't it great how people with no talent or creativity can get special treatment like that? While "normal" folks who put years of their life into art or writing just get lost in obscurity every day.

My teenager is on a rant because a weather-based youtuber is making stuff up, and after fact-checking them, he has to go off about all the ways the youtuber is wrong I'm proud of him for caring so much about scientific accuracy and gathering information from confirmed sources to find out the truth.

I was inspired by a writing prompt that asked for a "Christmas Fail" and wrote about a tragedy I endured a couple years ago.

Oathbound has so much that adds important contrast to the events of my first book. It takes a real look at someone trying to adapt to a very different societal structure with different morals and expectations. I can't wait to finish it and put it out in the world. #Booksky

My wife and I have a weekend alone ahead of us. So we start it off by discussing nice dinners, fun stuff to do at home (So far it's Diablo together) and her being passionately against the name "Dacian" for a female character in a future book of mine. Don't think I'm going to win that last one.

Had some books returned via Ingramspark. Person bought 8 but returned 6 and they were in great condition, so I'm guessing they accidentally ordered too many. Easy mistake to make, so now I'm trying to figure out what Igramspark is going to charge me for the books.

Today, I hit a vital milestone as an indie author: I received an AI slop email from someone in a poorly hidden attempt to sell me their services. Get in line, folks. I am officially a big deal.

My wife got the sample copy of her book today. What's crazy is she managed to format and style it all by herself with a simple tutorial online. I think it looks even better than my book! So I'll be recommending her book for anyone looking for shifter-based romance. #Booksky

Bluesky's character count can't possibly be enough to convey how angry and exhausted I am at recent events. I would say it's like a dystopian novel, but no one could immerse themselves in such a crazy and unbelievable scenario. "No one would be stupid enough to follow this crap. 1-star."
