working on the side characters for Polymajam, there's gonna be a very Bird and Bug sort of dynamic between the humans and the inhabitants of the magical otherworld that's part of the story. These are gonna change a bit, namely varying their ages and other elements. #characterdesign

Peg - also from that Magical Girl story, her design and character are even less decided than Aja's, but she's the deuteragonist who -without the means to transform using magic - fashions her own costume and wears a mask. the next character I could share have way more artwork I swear

Aja - originally designed for a college assignment, I've decided to turn her into a Magical Girl for a personal project, specifically, since my exposure to that genre is limited to Doremi and Cardcaptor Sakura, the concept is moreso riffing on the later. read the alt text for more info

here's Cupa - I generally start with her, she's relatively recent and she's originally from a story I'm thinking of re-working later but she's just fun to draw. these are sorta old, I don't draw her with antlers much anymore
