I have a goal before I head out to SGDQ. Beat Expedition 33. The issue with that is that in RPGs, I tend to burn myself out quickly because I over level or try and do everything at once. This will be a task for sure.

Sweet! FF14 now allows people to play in a more streamlined fashion and I have to option to play the way I have been. If you think this is some how bad, then I would have to question you as to why?

I think I need to get over the fact that everything I play might not be something that someone wants to watch. What's important is that I just start doing it and take that time to just get better. (Now only if I can get that annoying voice in my head to quit saying you suck)

I'm massively late to the party for #FF14, however I just completed the Arcadian stuff. That was fun and I've enjoyed it quite a bit. This will be one that I would be happy to play for the rewards if not to hear the music again.

I'm seeing DLSS5 floating around and I've seen some side by side comparisons. Honestly this would turn me using amd products exclusively at this point. I don't think anyone asked for that.

While my competitive drive for fighting games has been shelved for now, that wanting to better at them still burns brightly. I picked up SF6 and was playing with a buddy, I was getting washed like a plate but it did feel good learning.

Can someone explain the thought process behind preordering a game that is a digital release only? I get preordering a physical game because a store(s) might not get a lot of copies in, but digital preorder? Scarcity is not an issue with digital copies, or am I missing something?

I got lucky with these two. I had four packs of the current set and two of destined rivals. Idk if they are even viable in a competitive setting, however I'm happy I got them.

It's not new to me, but I've come across a video that showed streamers/gamers breaking controllers/setups when they lose, get scored on, or die in a game. I don't know if it is a hope they go viral, or they have money to burn because gaming is an expensive hobby.

If I'm getting smoked in a fighting game, but managed to pull of a couple of rounds and pull off some things in practice mode, and adjust to the opponent more often, then I'd say that was a successful session. Now to channel that for the next time I play.

Normally I don't use combo trials as a mark of proficiency, however I kind of breezed through Terry's trials. Maybe this was the character I needed to get a hold of MOTW.
