I switched back from a 1080p monitor to a 1440p ultrawide, still Arch #linux (btw) + i3-wm. To keep the 'compressed focus' the limited space gave me, I used #rustlang x11 bindings to create simple black windows to occupy space quick & dirty (and in less than 8kb). 🦆 🐱 github.com/dekirisu/not...
