Today we say Bon Voyage to the incredible OG cast of THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA. This show has been part of my life since the launch party last June and what a pleasure to follow its development through the Plymouth run, be invited to review it in the West End, and to watch it become the success it is.

🎭THEATRE NEWS🎭 It has been announced today that a brand-new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s CATS which will play at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre from 25th July-12th September 2026. The show will then head out on a UK tour which opens at Theatre Royal Plymouth, playing 6th-17th October 2026.

Theatres across London and the rest of the UK will dim their lights at 7pm tonight for 2 minutes in remembrance of renowned stage and screen actress Dame Patricia Routledge.

Great to be back on the front row for one of my favourites tonight, and amazing to see lots of swings and covers including Oliver Halford as Marty and Billie Bowman as Lorraine. BACK TO THE FUTURE is 1.21 gigawatts of fun!

It’s no surprise to anyone that know me that I love a musical! My shows over the next week are all musicals, including 2 brand new ones, a first visit to one I’ve wanted to see for a while, and two of my current favourites, so all in all I think I’m in for a great week of theatre!

Earlier this week I went to see the new revival of THE PRODUCERS with my new friend and neighbour. This show is one of the funniest things you’ll ever seen and is over the top and camp, and I absolutely loved it! This could easily become my next musical theatre obsession!

August was still a bit quieter as life is very busy but I managed to see some incredible theatre throughout the month.

Here's a FIRST LOOK inside the rehearsal room of GET DOWN TONIGHT: THE OFFICIAL KC AND THE SUNSHINE BAND MUSICAL! This disco fever is about to hit the West End with over twenty legendary hits including “That’s The Way (I Like It)", “Give It Up” and “Please Don’t Go”

I recently went to see JUST FOR ONE DAY at London’s Shaftesbury Theatre. Some individually great performances but overall I was quite disappointed with this production. I’ll write a full review explaining all my feelings soon! Have you seen this show? What did you think?

Something different tonight as I went to an outdoor production of TWELFH NIGHT from local theatre company Wild Will, following the story around Mothecombe Gardens. Did it rain? Yes Did we care? Absolutely not! I’ll be back next week for their production of JERUSALEM. Review to follow. 🎟️ Gifted

Over next few weeks I have a real mix of shows, beginning tonight at a local outdoor production of Twelfth Night (fingers crossed the rain stays away), into London’s West End and finishing with another Shakespeare play!
