Meet Urda Tryggvedottri, owner of The Drunk Fool’s Inn! Urda has more grandchildren than she can count and a soft spot for small dogs. She left the mountains when her husband died, and came to Winterhold with three copper coins and a half-eaten boar to her name.

So, I’ve been drawing a lot of fantasy ink illustrations lately, and here’s my first elf! 🖌️🎨☕️ She’s a cleric who is dedicated to the moon goddess Selene. (If you look closely, you can see a tiny moon crescent on her silver circlet.) Thanks for reading! 😺

Here are a couple of my latest fantasy ink illustrations in classic OSR style. 🖌️🎨☕️ My favourite is the battle ram. If you look closely, it says “Breekker” on the front in runes, and I drew a ram’s head to symbolise a charging ram.😺

It’s been nearly eight months since Ink October 2024 ended, but I’m still drawing.😺 Here’s my latest illustration: a suit of scale mail armour. Drawing the scales and the inlays took forever, but I’m quite happy with the result. It's part of a Cleric’s set I’m working on (for no particular reason…)

Here’s a step-by-step video of my latest battle map: A shipwreck that rests on the shore of Seabridge Island. Drawing this map was lots of fun! It's also a nod to a certain ship in a certain book that features a certain (very famous) vampire... 🐱

AS THE TWILIGHT HOUR fades into the night, the villagers from Saltby gather at Wightcliff Castle to meet with the local vampire coven and the werewolf pack. The castle is located on Seabridge Island, and it is only reachable during low tide across a winding causeway.

This is my first fantasy town map that I’ve made using a dip pen, ink, and watercolours! For the smaller illustrations, I decided to draw a grey hare (since Buckbridge’s main inn is called The Grey Hare) and a miniature picture of the old clapper bridge built by the Ironshield Clan.

So the spring's Geekend and its 4-day D&D marathon is over...but the campaign sure isn't! The adventurers have investigated, fought and tumbled through the first third, yet plenty of challenges remain (not to mention a very thwarted and annoyed assassin, who may reappear at any turn..!).

A few pics from our first Geekend in 2025! Twice every year, we meet up with our old Swedish rpg group for a D&D marathon (with breaks for pub meals). Every time, there's wild adventures, lots of storytelling, so many fumbles and failed plans, and tons of laughter. Can't wait for next time!❤️🎲
