Music is good for the soul, miss my oldest playing the piano all the time 🥲. My youngest is a drummer/percussionist. Today they played on our piano practicing their mallet parts. Even in its simplicity it was peaceful. I hope you get to listen to a little 🎶🎵🎶 this evening.

My partner & youngest would be strict carnivores if I let them 😂, but as the caretaker/giver & cook in the household gotta look after our heart & gut health! Dinner this evening creamy peanut vegetation stir fry. Will hear all about in a bit, but they will thank me in the future . . .

Routines that are good for us, some days . . .

Oh the day started off with so many productive plans: start a paper, consulting work. . . . Reality: a walk, Netflix, grilled cheese & soup for dinner, now some leisurely reading. Sometimes we have to give into our inner sloth. These days are needed too. Hope your day has some rest in it.

Winter wonderland out there. With snow comes shoveling. And with exertion, sadly, comes heart attacks. Also we have a middle-aged and senior patient population, whom we adore and want to preserve. Expensive for family medicine, but we now have an AED. May we never have to use it!

3wks ago temps in the mid teens, tomorrow massive snowstorm w/ advisory against travel. It could kill you. Was supposed to go to a city 4 hrs away to see my oldest perform-jazz musician. Youngest mentioned we should consider buying property in the north. Maybe they’re on to something 🧐. . .

Coldest 🚲 ride yet, but loving it! The ✨ , 🌕, and wind are all blissful in the morning! Balaclava under the helmet helps tremendously.

The Elf arrived today. Time for one of our Christmas traditions: Elf bites. Need to fill the tummy of the cookie jar incase the Elf needs a snack. Also for the sick people in my household: partner and youngest. Maybe it will help them feel better 😷🤧 🤞🏼
