Now that I’m (mostly) sure I’m done getting christmas gifts, this is what I got for manga this year, including my own purchases using christmas gift cards I’ve been slacking on actually READING my volumes so starting January I would like to try to read one volume a day until I’m through them all

Easily my favourite arc in SLF so far and it’s still got more to go

I’m hoping it’s either a villain protagonist series or the MCs are very quickly set on a path to redemption, because this first chapter has done very little to suggest we aren’t supposed to think the MCs are evil beyond how extreme the situation gets in the back half of the chapter

It’s been hard to get a solid read on Insect Girl ever since this arc started, it felt like it was setting up an ending after just barely starting, but with this latest chapter it might just be cooking up something great

I’ve been playing a lot of Dark Cloud lately and anyone with a ps4/ps5 should do the same, they’re less than $20 on psn. Fun (if a bit janky) ps2 roguelike rpgs with town building elements. Fun fact, The first Dark Cloud was the first game Level-5 ever made, and it still holds up remarkably well

Kagurabachi still gets some “it’s not a meme?” People here and there who can’t believe it’s actually good… But Nue’s Exorcist is the actual biggest victim in Jump of people judging it too harshly without reading. It has some faults don’t get me wrong, but it’s doing some great things

If you follow me and read manga, I urge you to try Nue's Exorcist.

The return of Girl Meets Rock to Manga Plus is very bittersweet. the lyric censoring is incredibly disappointing even if I understand why it had to be done, but I’m happy to once again officially support a series I enjoy so much

First chapter of “Rappa - Yankee Ninpuuchou” has been translated/scanned “Chiruran: Shinsengumi Requiem” mangaka Kazama Endo is the ultimate delinquent, unbeaten in a fight. He goes to scope out a boy who beat up his henchmen, but it turns out this boy is anything but ordinary!

I’m admittedly pretty lukewarm on Rugby Rumble most of the time but it’s improving, and I think it has some really solid high notes like this chapter. Really appreciate the early focus on more “average” teammates

Decided to try a new series through my local library, I was drawn in by the amazing volume covers but the series itself is great too (as of the first volume I’ve read) Very film-noir inspired with a unique setting
