The Russian drone attack is a test of NATO countries' defence capabilities, and it is difficult to believe it to just be a coincidence, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said. "Putin's regime threatens all of Europe and systematically probes how far it can go.”

A source tells Reuters NATO is not treating the incident as an attack but as an intentional incursion. Testing NATO’s defences in other words.

Coppicing to the modern mind always seems a little bit odd. Quite apart from the chainsaw and armour and boots, you’re logging right? And logging is bad. Well yes and no. The art to coppicing is it will all regrow (usually if you coppice one growth you get between four and five) 1/2

Talking of chainsawing, time to coppice - chainsaw sharpened; putting off until I have to the work boots, armour and gloves as it is a wee bit warm
