packing has been kinda cathartic in some ways. i feel like i'm closing a chapter to a book i was afraid to finish, perhaps because it's easier to keep making sentences that run off into the night than it was to say goodbye. i think it's a good reminder that some chapters ends, but new ones can ++

the one house got taken (which is fair, it looked like an absolute steal) and now i've made appointments for showings, one of which is still a wip because i'm setting a time with the person in charge of the property. please manifest i get something from either of those two in a positive way!!

i forgot to update but yeah, the showing cancelled and i rescheduled for tuesday. i also applied for two other places.

tomorrow i go to check out a house that's for rent. i am very excited to see it because it's literally a steal and sounds too good to be true, so i want to see what i'm getting into.

update: mom was calling to tell me she was officially diagnosed with autism. so, yeah, i know where i got it from.

my mom, whom i blocked on facebook, called me earlier. i didn't pick up the phone because i had been playing a game to relax after a long day at work with a really rough morning, and i know talking to her would have put me back into a really bad spot.
