There is an ocean-sized separation b/t being confident in the Bible and being arrogant about the Bible. The first is faith, the second sinful pride. A lot of Christians appear to have been raised and discipled in arrogant dogmatism that often crumbles when simple, sound biblical faith is needed.

Don’t preach or try to preach in such a way that people are bored with the gospel but excited about you.
