Been a bit radio silent while moving house and getting my hearing sorted out, but back in the saddle with a very busy September coming up!

I mean, look how neatly the capo fits in - like it was purpose built for it 😃

I've got an album launch gig coming up in Sept, and I wanted to make sure the hearing aids were OK for performance, so I just played an open mic and it was... OK! A few nerves, but a sympathetic audience which helped 🙂👍🎶

Hearing aids update: They're brilliant, I can hear conversations in much greater clarity, but I'm less sure about using them for streaming. It's like being able to watch TV on your glasses - an entertaining novelty for sure, but maybe not so useful when you're trying to cross the road.

You can't tell from this pic, but I've joined Eric Clapton, Brian Johnson, and Ozzy Osbourne RIP in the use of hearing aids in daily life. I can use them to stream music and the first words I hear? 'Faith To Arise' by Terry Reid: "Can you hear what I've been thinkin'? Do you hear my words out loud?"

Millsy's Uncovered is a new night of original music taking place upstairs at Millsy's Cafe Bar on Sept 3rd, and I'm playing an acoustic set to mark the release of 'Still To Breathe'. Pandora Craig is also playing, with other guests TBC. It promises to be a great night, so try not to miss it!
