This incredible engraving of a reindeer is between 10,000 & 14,000 years old & is carved into bone. The piece is 7cm long and 3cm high. Given its enormous age, the depiction strikes me as realistic, modern wven with its ligne claire style, including tiny incisions to suggest a shaggy hide. 🏛️📷 BM
