I never had to deal with the crematoria where my mum and dad died. My dad handled for my mum and my husband handled it for my dad. So I don't have a point of reference but I can say, dealing with a pet crematorium? Is just seriously seriously upsetting. In a way that I don't think it needs to be.

There are builders doing their thing in my road (there's always builders. I'm not complaining. I have builders booked for January). Whatever they are doing, sounds like a succession of really loud farts. It's great. I'm laughing for the first time in over a week.

The Trainline app is such trash. It used to be one of the best apps there was but now? You try to use it and it's like looking at a local news website. Just woeful. How did this happen.

Actually I'm thinking more and more that *every* day is clearly not a day for me being online. Upsetting stuff going on, upsetting people doing what they do... wrong people doing what they do... football about to be doing what it does... it's all one big trashpocalypse.

Increasingly I'm seeing people saying stuff along the lines of: 'AI is definitely no good for what *I* do, but see that person over there, it would be great for what *she* does'.

I had to look that up. I had no idea they were still making those. I must have seen the first film a million times and none of them were by choice. Incidentally I enquired about the mando film with the culprits from the avatar business and they say Zeb is gonna be in it. So I might be seeing that.

Trains are all ducked today. Thus, Iām wondering who thought it was a good idea to run one of those exotic experience trains along our track which is making this worse.

Where I live, and where I go in August, this summer has been nowhere near as hot as the really hot summers (eg 2003) yet the Graun says it has been the hottest summer ever. But without explaining the basis for that statement. Are they talking about the average temperature maybe?

Sorting through a box of old vinyl I found the Doctor Who variations on a theme record. God the memories that brings back. Good old Keff (that's the track I love). It was a weird time in my life, in some ways horrific but in others very happy. And through it all Dr who saved my life. Literally.

I love a ton of trashy stuff. I place a high premium on being entertained and/or comforted and I'm not always looking for, you know, the most exquisite acting ever to be immortalised on screen.

Oh I do like to go to the prom prom prom. Also planning a stroll. Brass band status unknown. But...orchestra anticipated. The bad side is getting such an early train. And leaving the house. But mainly the earliness of the train it felt like a good idea when I booked it. The feeling was wrong, obvs.

The discourse about possible property taxes ...and savings/inheritance etc... all seems to assume that kids will get jobs and move out of their family homes. But there's already a graduate jobs crisis and it's only gonna get worse.

There are actually 4 current TV programmes that I want to watch. Gilded age, Fake or fortune, Foundation and Bookish. When you add in the Proms as well ... this is *highly* unusual.

I always forget how much I do not like performing in concerts. And then concert day comes round. And I remember. And swear to never do it again. And as soon as it over... I forget once more. And the cycle repeats. I suspect I am not alone.
