First post in a looong time. I think I'm happier this way. I keep things to myself way too much. It sucks. I like doing this more, and some people I care about read my blogs. But it's also publicly available information about my daily activities and thoughts. I really don't know anything...

This past week, I've been thinking about what would happen if I died and what my legacy would be. The icebreaker for my Bible study asked me what I'd say to my best friend in 7 words, before I never see them again. One of my favorite music artists dropped a song about the fleeting nature of-- 🧵

I formatted this post a little differently because my health (and especially anxious or overwhelmed feelings as of late) has been overshadowing my desire to express myself. I have also somewhat withdrawn from meaningful relationships. Just conversing less, being less thoughtful, and less proactive.

Health Report: My heart feels heavy & life feels like a lot. I think this feeling is exacerbated by the fact that I didn't sleep well last night, and I took caffiene this morning. Though, I have been experiencing this feeling every day for the past several days. It's just strong in this moment. 🧵

Yesterday, I went to out for lunch with a friend. We were trying to go to Burger Wolf, but it was closed. We went to café Surin instead for lunch and met Lulus & Joca (the café's resident serval cats). We visited a Blue Seal ice cream parlor afterwards. I've been craving for beni-imo lately. 🧵

When life challenges you, make sure you come out stronger. Been struggling to give gratitude, notice things, and be as thoughtful as I have been before. I want to reclaim it.

The other day, I passed a big milestone for my career. I completed my initial training pipeline. Just waiting on a license to be processed, and gonna do some more hands-on training before the boss lets me work without supervision.

These past few months, I've been listening to a lot of reggae. Recently, I've been getting back into indie rock. It feels right to me. Also been listening to Nintendo game soundtracks again.

A compilation of photos from last weekend. Doing my chores throughout the week gives me so much more free time! Hung out with coworkers, traveled by myself, called friends & family, and one of my friends actually came over to my apartment to hang out :3 Very good weekend.

Yesterday was a good day. I studied pretty hard, and noticed the birds chirping while I was inspecting some trucks. I read somewhere that if you hear birds chirping, you're in a safe place. At least, there's no predators nearby. Also, one of my coworkers are moving away so I helped him out.

Last Tuesday, I felt like I got hit by a truck. Not actually though!! I was just super sore from the gym and it was really hot outside that day. My body was working hard to recover, and that made me exhausted. I made a decision to eat good and hydrate a lot so that my body wouldn't struggle.

I got my waist measured recently, and turns out that I have the smallest waist in my immediate workplace. Felt pretty good about that. Although, I've been thinking about bulking up and getting physically stronger. I need to up my cardio as well.

Last Monday was a pretty good day. I studied hard. I also met with a social worker again for mental health. Been thinking a lot about my spiritual health lately. I hit the gym that evening, and tried out a bunch of the machines there.

Last weekend, I met with my Japanese tutor. We learned more about "なんじから、なんじまれ" and similar sentence structure. Also learned about the days of the week. After that, I went grocery shopping.

I'm like, the little brother/cousin of all the circles I'm active in. Mostly work and mutual hobby groups. I'm happy with that. I'll grow up someday, but no need to rush.

Today was good. I started off the day pretty slow. Spent some extra time in bed. Usually, I have a "weekend checklist" posted on my door that I glance at every day that I'm off work. I haven't looked at it in a while, but I did so this morning. I spent the day catching up on my chores.

Yesterday was pretty good! My work was having a beach day, so a lot of us got out of work and hung out on the shore. People grilled food, met folks from other departments, played beach volleyball and other games. Since summer is here, I noticed a lot of cool bugs flying around. 🧵

I feel like I'm on the verge of replaying a dark time of my life. I also find myself asking a lot of the same questions from that time. One of these many questions asks, "How much do I value being authentic?". My answer? A lot, and I'm not interested in hating myself for it.

I haven't struggled with falling asleep this in a long time. Very upset.

Could just be because it's late and I'm having trouble falling asleep. But I feel like I'm no longer looking forward to the future. I don't know how I feel about spending time with others. I'm just waiting for something to happen. Or I'm living out of obligation. Not because I want to.

Hello! Today was a good day. I played volleyball with some of my coworkers before our shift. I went to work, studied a whole bunch, and sold lots of fuel. Now I'm back home. Very simple, easy day. Also texting my friends before sleeping X3

Hello! Today, I slept in a little bit. Despite that, I had less than 6 hours of sleep,, I was somewhat busy today. Got lunch at PARCO City. It was my first time going there, so I walked around a lot trying to get familiar with the layout. I also stayed out in Naha very late. I was picking up-- 🧵

Last Friday, I went to work as usual. Sadly, I was making a lot of little mistakes that morning and it really messed with me. One of my coworkers pulled me aside today and asked me if I was ok. We had a deep conversation. I felt a lot better afterwards, so I was able to lock in and get things done

Yesterday, I slept in a little bit. I got up and got ready for my day. Realized I forgot to do the homework my tutor assigned me. Was supposed to meet with him for a lesson, but we ended rescheduling. He's a very patient guy. Ate lunch at a resturant and got a haircut. Spent the rest of the-- 🧵

Kind of overwhelmed lately. Not just with work, but other things too. Prayed about it. But also, I scheduled an appointment with a mental health counselor. Been reaching out to close friends, family, and some coworkers.

Tried walking down the Indy Jones Trail after work. Could not find it at first. When I did, it was far too overgrown and dangerous for me to consider trying. It was already turning a bit dark out at the time. Turned back. Driving & getting out was nice though

Weekend was long. Happy to be at work

Went to a new church today. I really didn't like it. Met with my Japanese tutor afterwards. Learned about telling time. Became very sleepy. Spent the evening calling my best friend, played Jackbox with their family from over 1,300 miles away. Played TLoZ:BotW by myself until past midnight.

Hello! Today, I went to Seaglass Beach and walked along the shore with one of my friends. We had a really good time, goofed around, had deep convos, and admired our environment. We ate at KFC afterwards and visited Hard-Off before heading back home. I'm very tired, and quite happy.

Morning! Yesterday, I got the day off from work. So I spent the day doing laundry and calling friends & family from back home. I also went to a bible study.

Started listening to music artists' albums instead of letting Spotify make mixes and compilations for me with their algorithm. I heard that it's better, and so far it's been true. If I hear a song I like, I check the artist and play whatever album that song is from.

Today, I did my best. Helped out on a few fuel runs, studied, and got hours for my CDL. My company had a big meeting, so I got to sit in for that. After work, I spent a lot of time cleaning my apartment. Then I called a friend until around midnight.

Today, I managed to grab breakfast and pick up a coworker before work (he doesn't have a car yet). We made it comfortably on time. The work day was very slow, so I spent some time studying, drawing, and scrolling through social media. A coworker invited me to sit and chat in the outside--🧵

Today, I went to go exercise before work with my coworkers. The work day was a bit long, but it was nice and breezy in the morning~ Also, a coworker lent me their boonie hat. Perfect for a boonie dog such as myself X3 After work, I doomscrolled for about 2 hours until I pulled myself together. 🧵

It was surreal watching so many people pay attention to the TV and cheer for their team in a setting like this. I've never seen so many people in one place cheering at a screen. People were watching on nearly every floor that the TV was visible from. It was so, so, so cool!

This morning, I slept in. I also finished folding my laundry! In the afternoon, I met with my Japanese tutor and learned about number placements and how to tell time. Afterwards, I went summer clothes shopping at AEON Mall Rycom. I went back home and played video games with my friends online.

Today, I went to the beach with one of my friends. We had a great time. It was very hot out, and weather was perfect. I haven't been to the beach (or swam) in months. I'm planning to get more clothing for water activities & hot weather, since it's summer and all.

Just remembered that I also watched a good portion of Forrest Gump today with my coworkers. Sadly, I had to leave before finishing the movie...

Today, I worked on the flightline again! Only this time, it was incredibly hot & humid. It really felt like home lol xp My workplace also had a BBQ in the parking lot, so that was really fun! It's beach & water weather now. I've been daydreaming about it... I also went to Bible study tonight---

Spent this evening playing TLoZ:BotW and texting my fur friends. I heard about some conventions that are happening later this year. I have got to hurry up and get out of my initial training program! One of my friends offered to share travel accomodations if I go... FIRST CONVENTION! HERE WE GO!

It got very sunny in the afternoon, so one of my coworkers sprayed me down with coconut-scented sunscreen. It attracted this little green beetle! Tiny thing wouldn't leave me alone, so I had 'em in my pocket for the rest of the day 🪲 They are so pretty... I like beetles a lot!

Today was a pretty good day! Admittedly, it felt long. But who wants their days to be quick? I went to work and pumped lots of jet fuel :3 More than 40,000 gallons, actually! I lowkey want to prove to myself that I can do good work here, so I've been helping my qualified coworkers a lot.

I love Moxxie! He's so pathetic, but has his badass moments. A few years ago, I kinned him. 😵‍💫

Morning Okinawa! Yesterday, I took the day off work, slept in and had a watchparty with one of my friends :3 We caught up on Hazbin Hotel and got up to episode 12 of Helluva Boss~ Also played Minecraft with my online friends. A day well spent uwu

I've been playing one of my favorite games lately. And by "one of my favorite games", I mean "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" hehe My family can attest firsthand that when I got initially hooked, it was BAD. I spent like, full days JUST playing it. I can control myself now... sorta ;p

Henlo! Today was a normal work day, but there were a few things that made it special. 1) I got permission to take the day off tomorrow (an award I won a few months ago had a day-off pass associated with it). 2) I finally had my access approved for the electronic accounting system my career- 🧵
