I'm about halfway through editing the gameplay footage for the Street Fighter video. The upcoming bits are going to take longer as the fights got harder and longer so this is gonna be interesting to edit. One character took up nearly 1/3 of the runtime for the playthrough, BTW. lol

So I cleaned out most of my YouTube channel of VODs and past videos in order to prep it as a channel dedicated to edited videos. I want to aim to have a new video out every 5 - 6 weeks while having a stream once or twice a week. I might also return to dual-streaming to YouTube and Twitch.

Hey guys, sorry for no updates. I've been sick for the past few days and haven't had a chance to work on the Street Fighter video. I hope to get the narration done this weekend and have a rough cut by the end of next week.

So it's looking like the Super Street Fighter II SNES video will be around 25 - 30 minutes long so far. I'm only halfway through editing the playthrough portion but it's shaping up pretty well!

Finished Metroid Prime 4. I really enjoyed it! BUT the last 1/4 of the game doesn't stack up to the first 3/4. The problem boils down to the escort mission-style the game adapts later on and it affects the level design and atmosphere for me. The game is at its best when its just you exploring. (1/4)

Well, this was a nice surprise to get today! I watched the first movie and MY GOODNESS does it have a absolutely BEAUTIFUL transfer. Working my way through the supplemental material and this is already a contender for 4K UHD of the year for me. It's just too bad I had to own another copy of 3. lol

Thought I had way more anime VHS tapes but it seems like I purged most of it back in the late 2000s when I was upgrading to DVD. I had a bunch of stuff from Manga, Animeigo, Streamline and Viz that I had either gotten as gifts or bought from Suncoast/Media Play. Ah well! I'll have more clips soon!

I still find it odd that they close out the Pokémon VHS w/ a preview of the first Ranma 1/2 movie. Maybe cause it was Viz's biggest title back in the day besides Pokémon? Either way, don't think parents would be too happy finding out Ranma wasn't as kid-friendly as Pokémon was! Lol

So, it's been a bit since I've streamed. I've been taking a break to recharge and try to plan stuff for this month's streams. I plan on wrapping up Fatal Frame soon but I'll also try and line up more public domain films and maybe a cryptid stream like I wanted to do last year!

Got the Dirty Pair Kickstarter art book in today. It's a mixed bag-- there's some really cool designs in here but some of them are quite low-quality and a chunk of the book is dedicated to tiny storyboards that are hard to see. The page quality is good but the binding and cover feel cheap. Hmm.

It came in. It's as low effort as I've read. The case is cheap and has two of the discs stacked. The artwork insert does look like it was printed on an office printer. The reverse cover would look nice... if the front picture didn't look like a low quality .BMP from a 90s Geocities fansite. (1/2)
