We can track health trends and personalise treatments, but despite the promise of new technologies, innovations are often delayed or obstructed by barriers. With our new strategy we aim to change that.

Health inequalities drive earlier illness 🚑. Prof Philip Newsome said the KHP Strategy to 2030 represents “a shift towards harnessing the power of tailored therapies to deliver care that truly reflects the needs of diverse communities.”

Many factors affect population health, such as housing, instability, homelessness, and severe deprivation. Our King's Health Partners Strategy to 2030 says that to best serve our communities, our health and care system must be person-centred while remaining adaptive to population needs.

The Pain: Equality of Care and Support in the Community (PEACS) programme pathway was codesigned with a Black-led design agency, the programme helped people living with chronic pain to better manage chronic pain through holistic care.

The field of clinical genetics has changed a lot over the last 20 years. Dr Elizabeth Forsythe says the evolution inspires her as "there are some amazing new therapies changing the lives of people with rare diseases for the better and many potential therapies on the horizon".
