Just a short walk at 7am this morning and already starting to feel warm. The sea very calm as hardly any wind so will probably be a lot warmer here today. Keep cool 😎

It wasn't as hot in East Kent as expected, just a pleasant 22 - 24°C so must have been a decent sea breeze off a still very cold North Sea. The temperature differential between Tuesday & Wednesday looks unusually great in the SE. 33°c on Tuesday, just 17°c on Wednesday, so a respite already coming.

A bit grumpy this morning. Some people can be so inconsiderate. You get back to your Travel Lodge after midnight and at 2am people are having rows, full on domestics, slamming doors and you get less than 4hrs sleep when you need the energy for the day ahead. 🙁

I have to say Suffolk is a beautiful county. I really enjoyed a walk yesterday evening Shotley peninsula. What a view! Looking across towards Harwich & Felixstowe. Lavenham yesterday & crooked house now currently at Thorpeness and the house in the clouds.

I still have some weight to lose certainly in comparison to my friends (not on Bluesky but trying to encourage). Just the three of us initially in the La! bar in Margate. A rare mini break popping up somewhere else tomorrow. 😁

I didn't do a walk today. Every time the sun came out I would look at the App and see another heavy rain shower perhaps with hail hitting within 20 minutes. The occasional crack of thunder, didn't want to be in the wide open exposed to lightening, well that's my excuse. 😁 The weather will improve!

The re-ripping of the CD collection is taking so long & hope I never have to do it again. Real signs of deterioration on 80's CD's and because of error checking, so slow. A few no longer play, oh well better add them to my wants list! It has been an afternoon of Beach Boys, Beatles & Bee Gees. 🎸🏄‍♂️🕺😁

A doll find from car boot yesterday and she didn't need much work. A 2004 'Fashion Fever Drew Doll'. Another collectable and desirable line. The hair still has the original plaits, some scuff marks and in good played with condition. She is dressed in a 2025 Fashion and wearing red Barbie shoes.

Although started out on the usual sea walk it's very blustery here today & not that pleasant so took a detour to the park area. It was a day that I had to force myself to go out and only 8000 steps but included hilly inclines. Now back to continue the job of uploading the CD collection. 🙂

The first doll from today's haul only needed a clean and his trunks washed. A 1999 Hawaii Beach "Steven" doll in good played with condition. The older basic beach style Barbie's can be sought after. This a £2 find could easily sell for £10 which is still quite a mark up if you do buy to sell. ⛱️🩳😁
