So, #DestinationX ends as it has done all series ... with a whimper and a badly edited finale. No tension. No pizzazz. No popping corks or thrilling dénouement. An underwhelming experience. The second series needs a rethink, very little of the show worked IMHO.

This shows the lack of ambition from the terrestrial channels. The specials have been the same old, same old for the past 20 years or so. We deserve better. But then so do the creatives who want to innovate but can't thanks to commissioning editors recitence to do anything new or different.
