So I just finished watching the 1970s Invasion of the Body Snatchers. I remember my mother introduced me to this movie when I was a kid, but it turns out I had forgotten the entire thing except for the end. Fun movie, definitely a great revisit.

Wow okay I'm so over Nintendo at this point. The virtual game cards system on the original switch is the straw that broke the camel's back. I can't have the same game loaded on to my main switch and my switch lite at the same time under my account. It's VERY anti-user.

I had to add the MiB novel to my DNF list. The more I read the more dissatisfied I felt. About 3/4 of the way through I just wasn't feeling it. The comedy wasn't landing for me and stuff was left out that characterized Jay and Kay much better in the movie. #booksky

Growing up in the 80s and 90s, some of my biggest influences were Judge Dredd and 2000AD, TMNT, Conan the Barbarian, and Star Wars. Pretty much in that order. You had music cassettes and VHS. Comics were printed on newsprint and basketball cards ruled the school yard.
