I've been playing Mario Galaxy 2 for the first time. Unfortunately I don't like it that much. Some levels are fun, other levels are annoying. It gates progress behind too many stars and I don't want to play the annoying levels. Im quitting 62 stars in, after Throwback Galaxy. I much prefer 3D World.

Im basically done with Infinity Nikki. It has been fun. Its cute and I like the open world design. Im near the end of the main quest, I just cant finish it because I dont want to grind for the final outfit you need. Before I quit it, I will try out the new Stardew Valley crossover content.

Just booked my ticket for Universal Studios Japan and Super Nintendo World for next month. Ive never been to a theme park before, so its going to be interesting.

There is a bug in 1000xResist on Switch 2. The sky texture and a few other similar textures don't display correctly. I loaded the same save file on Switch 2 and Switch to get these screenshots.

I don't like how big Switch 2 is. When I go to Japan next month, I think I will just take the 3DS instead.

Im replaying 1000xResist a year after I first finished it. The game is still amazing.

Finished Stray on Switch 2. Thats now the third time I have played through it since it originally launched on PC. I love it. The Switch version obviously doesnt look as good as the Series X version, but on Switch 2, it runs great.

Finished the main objective in Little Kitty Big City. The game is extremely cute. Its fun to run around as a cat and collect things. Im glad its short though, it could easily overstay its welcome. Overall as a game though, I liked it less than Stray. Im going to replay Stray now, but on Switch 2.

This level in Bit Trip ReRunner is insane, but after so many attempts and learning the pattern, it feels so good to get it right.

I finished the main set of new levels in Bit Trip ReRunner. The game is great, kind of half remake, half sequel to the original game. It feels really good to play. It includes a remake of Runner 1,which I will play now. Overall I like it, but Runner 2 is still the best.

Finished Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. Overall I really enjoyed it, very much my kind of action game. It had good characters and a decent enough story. Being a game from 2010, it has definitely aged. The platforming and combat was quite janky, but it was fun. Im glad I played it.

I wasn't expecting to say this, but I think I will pass on Kirby Air Riders. It seems to be too much of a multiplayer game for my liking.

I have been a fan of the Bit Trip Runner series ever since the Wii Ware game was new. I remember a while back that ReRunner was released on PC, but I completely missed the news last year that it was released on Xbox and Playstation. I just bought it on Series X. I hope its good. I loved 2. 3 was ok.

Nintendo Museum tickets for October just opened up. I managed to get a ticket before the day I needed sold out 🎉 The earliest time slot I could get was 3:30pm, but it doesnt close until 7pm, so that should be fine. Its cool how you can get your Mii put on the ticket.

Finished DK Banaza. Overall I thought it was fun and good. Some parts of the game are great, some parts are boring. Im glad it doesn't gate progress behind banana count because I had no real interest in hunting them. The last part of the game is kind of mind blowing, so its worth playing through.

I got through "Dear me, I was" on Switch 2. Its not a game or a visual novel, but a slightly interactive short story told only by image and background music. It has extremely nice art, especially if you like Another Code or Hotel Dusk.

The only thing I wanted to see in that Direct was FF7 Remake and it wasn't shown. Monster Hunter Stories 3 could be interesting if they are making it an action RPG this time. I didn't see anything indicating it was turn based again.

After four and a half years of regular use, its time to retire my NES shoes. They are the best shoes I've ever bought, but they are getting worn out to the point its getting uncomfortable. They arent made anymore and "new" ones on ebay are too expensive, so I have bought a different shoe from Puma.

About 32 hours into the Oblivion remaster. Finished the Shivering Isles expansion. Its good, very different from the main game. Ive had enough of Oblivion for now, but I would still like to play the Knights of the Nine expansion at some point.

Recently someone recommended me Enslaved Odyssey to the West. I looked it up and ut definitely seems like my kind if game. It was only $20 on Ebay, so I bought it. It is backwards compatible on Series X, so I will play it after Im done with Oblivion.

Its very difficult to be an Xbox fan when they do very frustrating things, like spend 69 billion on Activion and then lay off thousands of people. Imagine if they had invested that money into making their existing studios better instead.

I reacquired my gaming PC case from 2009. Its a Gigabyte 3DAurora. Its cool how it projects the logo on the desk surface. Two photos from 2009. At a LAN party where I played tons of UT3. It had liquid cooling for a few years. I got it back from a friend, but Im not sure what I will do with it.

Oblivion NPC interactions are so funny. Im about to start the Shivering Isles expansion. I remember this being good. Last time I played it was probably 2008.

Got a new camera today. Panasonic G100D (Micro Four Thirds). It is to replace my now very old GX7, which had great image quality, but had annoying technical limitations on video recording The G100D has lots of nice modern features, like 4K 30/1080p 60, OIS, Nokia Ozo mic and external mic input.

I finished playing the new English translation of Puppy Love Story on the Loopy. The game is very cute and the story is surprisingly good. The translation work is great. I hope more of the Loopy games get translated.

Splatoon Raiders looks great. Its about time they made a spinoff game

Finished Neptunia Riders Vs Dogoos. I wouldn't exactly say it was a good game, but for a game about anime girls riding motorbikes, it was fun and short.

The Outer Worlds 2 looks so good. I loved the first game.

I waited so long for Final Fantasy 7 Remake on Xbox, but now I will probably just play it on Switch 2

I put the beta firmware on my 8bitdo Ultimate Controller and it is working on Switch 2 now. Hopefully they can find a way to wake it from sleep, like it can with Switch 1.

Mario Kart World is tons of fun. I streamed it and Welcome Tour and Gamecube classics for almost three houts. Very happy with how many viewers I got. I played through all the cups in GP mode. Boo Cinema is my favourite course so far. youtu.be/eAKprZY_Cxs
