I got up at 5am for Summer Game Fest. Resident Evil Veronica and FF7 Revelation are great. I didn't really care about anything else.

Just got FF7 Rebirth. I mostly liked Remake earlier this year, so I should like this one too. Ive only heard good things about it on various podcasts I listen to. It has reverse box art, which is nice. It looks better than the regular box art. I have no idea who Zack Fair is for this Magic card.

Now that The Mario Galaxy Movie is on streaming services, I bought it and made a watchable VHS version for my collection. I recycled a Star Trek Voyager tape, which was just the right length. I then put the box art together based on the official DVD box art, and old VHS movies.

VHS game trailers/ads are such a time capsule. The Australian movie trailer accent is also perfect. I have never heard of this game before. I've heard this music before in a Nintendo 64 promotional tape. I wonder what the source is.

Im finally replaying Rise of the Tomb Raider. I loved this game when it launched. I have been wanting to replay it for a few years, there just hasn't been a good time until now.

Just finished Mixtape. Its like a mix of Life is Strange and Sayonara Wild Hearts, two of my favourite games. It also kind of felt like it did what Lost Records was trying to do, but better. The art overall is great, but the low framerate for the character animations bothered me Overall it was great

Finished Dispatch. I liked it. It had good characters and an ok story. The gameplay is there. I didn't like the puzzles, but the rest was ok. Im not sure why this is a game and not just an animated series on a streaming service.

Purchases from this weekend. I have been interested in Pokemon Pinball for ages, but basically every copy I see has the battery cover missing. I hope the rumble still works. SotD is a Grasshopper game Ive never played. I know there is a remaster on Switch, but I like having a physical copy.

The Switch 2 version of Sayonara Wild Hearts is out now. It is either a free upgrade, or 50% off if you don't own it already. I demand everyone play this. It is the best one hour of game you will ever play.

I love Splatoon, but I didn't like 3 very much. Im gkad we're getting a single player one with Raiders. This new trailer looks cool, so I really hope the game is good.

I got Tomodachi Life. I loved it on 3DS, so Im hoping this will be just as good.

Finished Life is Strange Reunion. It was a really good ending to the other games with Max. Overall as a game though I think it is probably the weakest in the whole series just because it trying to wrap up the story and not do very much new. Don't play it without playing the other three games.

Arrived today, another Xbox physical that Australia missed out on. Once again imported from Amazon US. I have physical copies of all the other Life is Strange games, so I had to continue the collection. I love the series, so I hope ita good.

Finished Duke Nukem Critical Mass on the DS. It was ok. It is a 2.5D sidescroller where you shoot lots of enemies as you get through the levels. There is also a few vertical shmup levels. Boss battles are in small 3D environments and play like a 3rd person shooter. It was short at almost 6 hours.

Finished FF7 Remake! It was good overall. Some parts were great, other parts were a bit boring. I liked it enough to want to keep playing when Rebirth comes out on Switch 2. The best part was how hot they made Tifa.

Today while in Perth I went to one of my regular game shops and got another game for the 3DS collection. "it's Ridge Racer, Riiiidge Racerrrr!" I was never very interested in it until they talked about it on @radiofreenintendo.bsky.social about a year ago.

A few months ago an official Bandai Gashapon shop opened in Perth. I finally had a chance to go and have a look

Some new amiibo are out today. I just got Captain Toad. Im surprised it took them so long to make a Captain Toad amiibo. I also found the Pikachu glass on clearance for only $2.50

Finished Romeo is a Dead Man. I liked It because it has some top tier Suda51 / Grasshopper Manufacture moments, which its exactly what I want. But it also has some kind of bad parts. Overall I think its not as good as No More Heroes 3.

I found a bug in Romeo is a Dead Man where I tried to turn off subtitles, then all the text changed to Japanese. Quitting and relaunching the game fixed it.

Pragmata seems good. After finishing the demo, there is good chance I will buy it. I will wait until I hear about it on podcasts I listen to though.

Finished Lego Horizon Adventures. It was good, but quite different from other Lego games. It has more of a combat focus on the game play, which makes a lot of the levels just a series of kill rooms. The writing and characters were great though, all very amusing, as it should be for a Lego game.

It was an ok Direct. I will be interested to try the Pragmata demo. Im still not sure if I want to play Requiem, but I absolutely want the amiibo. I already played Oblivion Remaster last year, but I will buy it again if there is a physical release.

Its crazy that in a period of only 7 months, Switch 2 sold over 17 million units. That about 4 million more than Wii U lifetime sales.

For a few years I have been wanting to replay the modern Tomb Raider trilogy. I just finished the 2013 game. It was great, but some of the shooting segments were a bit annoying. Soon I will play Rise of the Tomb Raider, which I remember was amazing.

The censorship in Dispatch got me thinking. Do any of the "hentai" games on the Switch eShop actually have nudity? Or is it all implied and nothing is actually shown? The whole situation just seems kind of odd.

I watched both the UK and US versions of the Tomodachi Life Direct. There were some slight differences, but nothing significant. Im really looking forward to it. The 3DS game was great.

Just got FF7 Remake. It will be my first Final Fantasy game. Ever since it came out on PS4 years ago, Ive thought it looked really cool. I've just been waiting for it to come to a system I own.
