If you want to reduce the carbon footprint of your diet, less meat is nearly always better than sustainable meat.

Happy to see this out! How does the speed of vegetation recovery affect the long-term climate after a massive magmatic carbon degassing? Find out here:

Biogeographic climate sensitivity controls Earth system response to large igneous province carbon degassing
Periods of large igneous province (LIP) magmatism have shaped Earth’s biological and climatic history, causing major climatic shifts and biological reorganizations. The vegetation response to LIP-indu...

Super stoked to see this paper out today! We've made a model for global C, O and P cycles over Earth history and it does a fair job of matching combined proxies. The key driver for oxygen rise is the build up of crustal carbon.

Our new paper on the future of ecosystems is out today! We used climate and biome models to infer how anthropogenic CO2 emissions might shape the global distribution of different vegetation types over the next 500 years 🌎🌲🌴🌵
