Last month I've been making a point of exercise every day (simple stretches, pushups, sit ups), and have been going for long walks early in the morning along the river front twice a week. Literally never felt better.

For me, the issue at the core of remakes/remasters is if it's a preservation project, creative project, or monetization project.

For my money, if an old "classic" game really does "still hold up" you should be able to hand it off to someone who has literally never played it before and they should be able to engage with its design more or less the same they would with a modern released title they have never played before.

My favourite bit of character interaction in kcd2 is whenever Henry says something stupid or ridiculous, and the NPC will immediately react by saying "no hal, that's fucking stupid" He's just a bit of an idiot. And I really appreciate that about him.

One of the things I really appreciate about Wyrm is how simple and straightforward the magic is. No fucking about with discreet values on-top of discrete values. Its a real strength to the system that makes spells very alluring.

The insistence that "combat" and "roleplaying" in table top games are two separate parts of an experience is so dumb.

I like wrestling, but I can't stand not having the full context of any given storyline (especially the big ones). So fuck it, I'm gonna watch the very first Double or Nothing and binge Dynamite while on annual leave 😎

I'm a big fan of simple design executed elegantly. Elegant meaning the design intent is clearly communicated, and therefore any empty space around that design can be intuitively understood for what it is in that context. This is what I love about Quest, and it is what I love about Wyrm. I like it🙂

I changed my operating system from windows 11 to Linux several months ago and, I gotta say, it's really really really really really really really really really really really really really really nice to have a working computer. Would recommend it.

I think a big reason why I absolutely love Dragon's Dogma 2 is because I deliberately made a strong effort to avoid and ignore so much discourse and content about the game (am still doing so). I absolutely love this game. I think it is easily my favourite game I've ever played.

Trpgs are silly little play pretend games I play with my friends. Sometimes we take them seriously, sometimes we don't, sometimes we jump dramatically between those two states within the scope of a play session based on vibes We engage with them however we feel in whatever moment because that's fun

I really very enjoy how the lead VAs for KCD 2 are so forward and enthusiastic about the Hans and henry romance.
