Working on a project here using the Jumpstart packs from Foundations. If we were to choose a Commander to upgrade these two packs into, what would be a good option?

Are old-school Artifact decks still fun to play against? I don’t use Artifact decks much these days, outside of if I re-assemble Muzzio or Arcum. I’m brewing up something I think is fun, but as my record will show I understand FUN in the same way Plankton does.

Ideas for a Subnautica-themed Commander deck?

The jury is out, mono-green elves still slap. I’m still trying to add as many card draw engines as I can, but this deck is fun.

It’s been forever since I had an elf deck in rotation. Do we go with tried and true, or do we spice it up with someone else?

Leg is swollen up again. Literally was back in shape on Monday with medication and treatment, but work Friday got it swelling and stiffening again. I can’t catch a break.

Has anyone been finding some fun new brews by exploring older sets? I’ve been vibing with some old Jumpstart legends and some Capenna, some really interesting design spaces there I’m really into.

I would be a 1/1 Squirrel creature token. Quite specifically, the Squirrel token produced by Form of the Squirrel.

A new exercise I’m trying with Commander deck building, is to avoid all online resources, and simply use what cards are sitting collecting dust in my boxes. I have a Commander, I have an idea what I want the deck to do, and I’m pulling cards from my collection to support that.

Recently been working on some decklists, and I personally love blood tokens as a mechanic. Having that discard and draw effect is a lot of value that I wish had more card representation. I believe Ceremonial Knife is the only card I could find that would be able to make blood tokens in off-colors.

So of the previews from the ATLA set we’ve seen so far, which of the main group do we think is the most interesting to brew around? I’m leaning towards either Katara or Toph at the moment, but I’m curious what others think.

I’m so angry. I just ruined a video I made in 2018 because YouTube’s stupid copyright flagged another video for using a royalty-free (still credited) music piece I’ve used in over one hundred videos. I opted to trim out the segment, not realizing it left me with a 1:18 video (original 11:48). Great.
