When it comes to tracking on 3D vtuber models, I personally like to use as little tracking as possible. I'm only using iphone tracking myself. I'm lazy, I don't wanna strap myself in just to fuck around in a game. If I wanna do a silly dance I press a button and take another sip of water. 🐈

Me dming my friends with "Hytale tomorrow :yippie:" just to learn half of them have no idea what I'm talking about. 🐱

Today's Sculpt

Made a little shrimp! iPad feels really nice, and I'm getting used to it fairly quickly. Not much "sculpting" here but just being able to put things together like this feels good.

Received my new iPad! It's my first one (hopefully the only one I'll ever need), mainly for use with Nomad. Feels really nice, the Pencil feels satisfying and soft. Waiting for it to charge and then try out sculpting on it!

It's crazy how much better I sleep on the floor than on a soft bed. I started doing that as a little experiment last year and now I can't go back. 🐱🥹

Learning sculpting feels like I'm learning 3D from scratch again. There are so many things that I wish I could do that simply don't exist in that workflow, or at least not in the same way. VR and iPad seem so much better fitted for it as well versus a standard pen tablet.

Twitter is completely melting down. It's all vaguebait, grok undressing people, drama revisionism and lengthy AI posts disguised as some wise opinion. I'll post here more, I finally got into the habit of checking in here more often and it warms my heart to see a lot of art. Hope to post work soon.

Doodling and playing around with sculpting, the biggest challenge for me is the thought of "this would be easier and faster in Blender/Plasticity". Because it absolutely would right now, but that's not the point.

There is nothing more dry than a discord that disables custom emotes.

Maybe this year I will finally learn sculpting and Deadlock.

Doing my end-of-the-year introspection and realise that I have shockingly low faith in other people, and that this leads me to often cancel on things I wanna do. Next year I think that's something I need to overcome.

Got a design review by Rikku, and I honestly did not expect the reception. My heart is full. 🐱😭🧡

Behind the Scenes of: My Hood! My wild hair would poke through the walls of the hood I'm wearing, so to make sure that doesn't happen I can toggle on an invisible "mask" in front of the head, so the hair only renders when viewed from the front.

Yet another detail: Not only the tail itself, but also the ears are controlled by Warudo Tail Assets, meaning their animation is entirely procedural and gives them more of a "natural" movement you wouldn't get from just a static animation.

Another detail: My teeth part depending on how far I open my jaw, allowing my to do a "teethy" smile without strange gaps. It also reacts to me sticking out my tongue, so it doesn't just clip through the closed teeth!

Since I have better tracking now, I do some personal fine tuning that nobody is gonna notice, just so it feels nice to use. The teeth of my new model part when my actual irl teeth do as well. And it takes the tongue into consideration so it doesn't look like I'm biting it.
