honored to be recognized by my alma mater. very much looking forward to returning to Augusta University, where I will also be giving a special seminar in the Department of Cellular Biology and Anatomy - my academic home from 2008-2013.

it seems insignificant in light of everything that is going on in the world right now. but, I managed to reach the next level in this silly game called academia. promotion to Associate Professor unlocked. thanks to all former and current trainees, collaborators, colleagues, and mentors. cheers
