I attempted to put one of my staves into BG3. It was a lot of throwing stuff at a wall but I did get it in. It’s too big and I messed up a texture but the point is, is that I was able to get it to appear 🥹

I just love seeing a staff I released appear there in the first cutscene you get your gear 🥹

I foolishly chose bows as what Saria would release next in her emporium. Tell me why it took me like 4 hours to get the bow to actually load since bows work differently. I should have been basic and went with swords next.

I wish I was good at taking screenshots. I so very much want to see my staves in screenshots that are actually coherent.

I wonder what weapon should be added next to the emporium? Daggers, bows, swords, shields, axes or spears?

I am so tired guys. How did this mod start as “oh maybe I do a few staves” turn into 12 and silly little in game descriptions for each one? I spent hours just thinking of names and descriptions for each stave. Rip to the one stave that didn’t make it in because of frosty

No stave progress today because work is mean and I’m only going to have like seven hours until my alarm goes off by the time I get home from tonight’s shift 🥲

Six staves are officially done.(multiple color options and optional vfx will just be a future update for the mod) There’s bare minimum 4 more left. Potentially six if I really want to go all out. It’s just so hard coming up with cool names and in game descriptions for all the staves.

Oooo I really want to release Saria’s stave emporium after work tonight. I’ll save color options for later as an optional file type deal. But the real question is if I give a version that has matching stave vfx 🤔

Though I really gotta stop finding new projects to do when I already have so many. And then there’s the whole wanting to create mods for other games. There’s not enough time in the day 😔

I got my butt kicked at work all weekend long because it was warm enough for people to act like it’s summer and now it’s snowing today. Amazing how this keeps happening

I decided to give myself yet another project even though I’m already doing five million other things. I don’t even play with staves but I want to put more staves into the game. Here’s one I’m playing with now. It looks crazy because the textures are for a vanilla staff but progress is progress 🌙

Man I’ve been at work for 10 and a half hours and we’re still not done. Rip me 💀

I cannot with toxic passive aggressiveness in the workplace. I boggles my mind people go out of their way to act like this.

And one day I will learn how to make outfits for veilguard. I can make impossible things happen in the game. Change any vfx color. Change the time of day yet making clothes? Unthinkable.

One day I will grow the courage to commission stuff for Saria. One day. Crazy I get anxiety over the idea of sending a message smh

I’ve been in purgatory with all these closing shifts but I can excitedly say we have found the animation player for the game. Don’t know how to use it yet but we’re one step closer to getting Rook to do any facial expression or pose/animation on command. The future is looking bright ✨

Fire orbs have been the bane of my existence. For the life of me I still haven’t cracked how to change the orb and only the fire around it even though I’ve come close. I rage quit the other day and just removed the inner orb all together and ended up with some galaxy fireball

Just got home from work and my alarm for my next shift goes off in 9 hours. I love that for me

Here’s one fun thing I can share from work. One of my employees thought steak came from a chicken. Acknowledged cows are beef but then said chickens were the same thing. That chickens were a type of meat from cows??? I just- Let that just sink in.

And I also looked a little into animations to make Rook do at any point in the game for photomode purposes and I think I’ve found a lead. Exciting stuff. But I think that’s enough for one day since the cold is starting to creep up on me and make me so sleepy

I did my testing and I think my new Rivain sky is ready to be published! I’ll try and get it done tomorrow. I was going to try a night sky and I did have a night sky but it wasn’t viable for like anything beyond VP purposes. Like you could not play the whole map with a nighttime sky. It’s too dark 😕

Okay I may be sick but if I stay hyper focused, I should either finish this Rivain sky or at least get the next batch of cutscenes finished to work with the sky.
