I’ve been experiencing Destiny 2 in an entirely new light (no pun intended) this week, and it’s such an odd feeling having this game come alive for me in so many different ways, only to have the EoS reality hit hard again after stream. People deserve the experience of Destiny.

It’s kinda crazy that this update probably would have been make it or break it for Destiny 2, and it actually would have totally made it if Sony would have given it a chance.

My capture card died during stream, and I’m afraid it might be from the heat. If I can’t get it to work in the next couple hours, I might need to rush order one to get her by my event on Friday. Trying to stay positive!

Now we start to record our own lore. Just because Destiny is in end of service, that doesn’t mean we just stop being Guardians. We all have so many stories to share and be a part of. This community isn’t going anywhere, even if we all end up going our own separate ways. 💙

I have a confession: I haven’t watched any of the trailers or listened to any of the messages from the voice actors yet. I’ve been so busy holding it together IRL, I couldn’t lose it over all this again… yet. I’ll be watching them for the first time today on stream.

I think the #WeWantDestiny3 movement is less about D3 specifically, and more about the continuation of the Destiny IP, with which D3 makes the most sense. It’s about rallying the community together to show Sony there is both demand and loyalty backing Destiny’s future.

I’m just kind of numb at this point, but like my sad is stuck inside, waiting inside the door like one of my cats when I come home, gearing up to run out before I can shut the door. Anybody else getting that?

Things have been pretty shit lately and I’ve found myself down a deep hole at least four feet above my head and I have no upper arm strength even if I had a rope, but I still think I could rally and pull myself out if things got dire, but as it goes now, I’m in a bad way.

If my Switch is in the bedroom when I go to sleep, I have to keep it in my bedside drawer while I’m sleeping or my cat will track it down and chew on it to let me know it’s time for food. She knows how to get me where it hurts.

In all my friendships and friendship groups over my entire life, I’ve never been the “fun friend”. Often the “crazy friend”, nearly always the “support friend”, but never the “fun friend”. I find it curious.
