Personally, I think Thomas Frank is massively overrated. Hes done well to get a reputation as a top coach. 10th, 16th, 9th & 13th place finishes in the PL. Its alright, but hardly brilliant. Then 9th, 11th and a couple 3rd place finishes in the Championship. Getting promoted via playoffs.

Their goal last night was so avoidable. Bruno & Amad putting zero pressure on the defender clearing the ball. Far too easy. Shaw not attacking the ball & allowing it to bounce. Mainoo not tracking the run.

Just watching the Sesko goal celebrations. Anyone ever seen a ref allow play to restart while a team is off the pitch celebrating? If no one is stood in the opposition half, technically, the ref can allow kick off to be taken, right? Think someone guided our celebrations back onto the pitch.

Might not be getting as higher output from Amad as we are the other attackers, but, i think Amorim playing him at RWB has made him a better player. He has more awareness of his defensive responsibilities now, or more appreciation for it. Just needs a goal or two.

And thats why they say 2-0 is a dangerous scoreline. We often do this. We think that a game is won, we stop working as hard, the intensity drops. Once its turned off, its hard to turn back on. That complacency is costly, but, thats 3 on the bounce, cant complain too much!

Connor is looking better today, lots of the swelling has gone down around his cheek and eye. Got a bit of a lisp, not sure if thats due to the missing teeth, or his damaged lip. But, he seems in a better place. He went out for a walk earlier, and been able to eat soups, etc.

I actually thought we played better in the first game vs Arsenal at OT. We had some really good performances under Amorim. But like ive been saying for a long time, moments of quality (a shot, a cross, a pass, a save) win games. It can be the difference between a win or a loss.

You can see why Arsenal score so many corners - because they win so many corners. Their wingers have 2 goals, to either cut inside and cross/shoot, or when they are forced to go on the outside, to win a corner. Really simple, but its pretty effective.

Makes sense to not renew Casemiro. Would be a great player to have around, but I imagine he has recieved an offer on a bigger wage and longer duration than we were prepared to offer. Opens things up for at least 2 senior midfielders to come in during the summer.

Big error from the ref there. Was the whistle blown before it ended up in the net? Saw whistle go to mouth, but must have been very close.

Maybe im biased, but I think Dalot would have been a little unlucky to see red. From a standing position, rather than a follow through action, Dalot reacted to a ball that popped up in the air. Caught him on the knee, but partly because Dokus knee was so close to the ground.

We seen a replay of the Mount disallowed goal yet? Looked the tightest of the 3. On 1st look, seemed OK.

Having only 3 players who you might fancy to score a goal is a concern. Not a lot of pace at the back, so likely to drop deeper. Not a huge amount of pace up top, so counter attacking opportunities might be limited too. I might be turning this off at half time. 😂

I hate to shit on players. But we have so many that just simply wouldn't look out of place playing for Fulham, or Sunderland or Forest. We massive overstate the ability of about 50% of this squad. We praise the most basic of stuff, but game to game, its just obvious to see they are bang average

I am shocked, that having sacked Amorim and switched back to a 451, that these players are not world beaters...

We have got some good players. But we have some major deficiencies in this squad. Some are just way below the levels needed.

Piss poor defending, yet again. Seemingly doesnt matter if you play 4 at the back, or 5 at the back.

Im gutted. I felt genuine optimism around where we were heading. Sacking a manager 15 months into a rebuild that everyone can see was going to take years. Morons. I actually dont care who the next manager is. You reap what you sow.

Away at Elland Road, with the score at 1-1, fighting for every ball, every header, is not the time or place to just chuck on a youngster and hope for the best. At best, they get through the game. At worst, they feel out of their depth, set their development back and lose the game.

Seen quite a few people questioning why dont just throw the youngsters in. Its just fantasy that they will become some kind of Messi regen. When they are not, we'll write them off, and demand the next "wonderkid" plays a game.

Probably a fair result. And probably an expected performance. Again, its obvious that we are missing attacking players. Its just about getting through these games, and try grind out results. If were still in touch of top 4 by 1st Feb, ill be very happy.

Leeds at the weekend is going to be a tough one. Its no place for the weak, and no place to hide. We could really do with Mount and/or Bruno back. Experienced players. But, a win would take us into 4th place. Big opportunity.

I loved that! Our defending this season has been terrible. That 90 minutes there was pure grit and determination not to concede. More of the same going forward please! Three points in the bag!
