Lots of players off the boil today. Cunha was poor, Mbeumo looked a little off it. Bruno was quiet, Amad looked physically a little weak. 2-2 probably about the right result. And is probably where we are as a club at the minute. We're still a year or two away from being a consistent team.

Van de Ven is a good player. An obvious threat in the air, a leader and really quick. If there was any possibility to sign him in the summer, we should take it. Same with Onana at Villa. Both big, powerful, 6ft 4", quick, good footballers. Add those two, and we'd have a serious team.

I used to like football more when players and fans could freely celebrate a goal. VAR is killing the fundamental and most joyous part of football.

I mentioned de Ligts foul throws last week. Another one this week from Mukiele that led to Sunderlands equaliser (not that im complaining). But surely that's an easy VAR decision. The Ref and assistant have both missed him lifting his back foot off the ground.

The best thing about the game yesterday, it was the 1st time my 5 year old chose to sit down and watch (most) of the game with me. My two eldest boys have no interest in football, so to see him so excited when his new favourite player, "Harrymagraa", scored was just perfect! 👌

Don't know if anyone is watching the Celtic game, but I think I've just seen the worst (OK, maybe 2nd worst after last weekend) VAR decision ever.

My main point being, Amorim inherited a squad that didn't have the profile to play any system, other than to use Rashford and Garnacho on the counter attack. That approach might win you games, but it wont win titles. So, we are trying to become a more dominant team. It will take time.

Everyone seems to think that we shouldn't be playing the 343. So, what system should we be playing? Should we play a high line, squeeze the play up the pitch, or play deep and on the counter? Do we try keep the ball, or give it up? What's our best team, should we change to the suggested system?

How long till we get yet another apology from the PGMOL about the mistake in not sending Collins off?

I watch quite a lot of football. I don't think I've seen any other team be as consistently bad at crossing the ball into the box as United.

Conceding from a corner like that was ridiculous. We'd got caught out 2 minutes earlier with a short corner, then still allowed it to happen. Those lapses in concentration will cost you games. Anyway, great win. Started the game really well, and took full control of the game 1sh half.
