My opinion is not complicated. The start and end of it is anything produced with, or with the support of, genAI is worse than nothing. Not only does it produce something you can, at best, claim is a rough simulation of the thing asked for, but it chills real work because "A thing" exists.

For the record: SGDQ's donation take was down a couple of percent, almost equal to the drop in sponsor take. So once again the community showed up almost exactly as much as they always have, and the sponsors/corpos didn't. We don't need em. Super proud of the community every event.

I am probably the most frustrating person to work with because I am literally a Code Witch. I think most friction can be solved with MORE CODE, but I don't write code or handle systems logically; I'm emotional-kinesthetic and do everything on vibes and trial-by-error.

Giving out JOHN FURY'S FIRST FURY may be one of my favorite commentary/GM stints since Mutant Night years ago. Part of that is probably I feel like I can actually emote again with my voice, but it's also the game and being able to just go "I just think it's neat!" and everyone be on board.

2h18m in A Single Fallen Feather, with two deaths and some outright misreads of my route. I'm wobbling in the zone of "2:10 is free, 2:00 is starting to enter an actual okay speedrun with this route, and there may be better routing still" Surprisingly fun short RPG run.

I found my Big Bad Game-a-thon submission and have a 19:30 in it already. I just need to polish it for a submission video soon.

It'd be cool if someone made a sequel to Crazy Taxi. It's a shame that's not happening after all, despite people seeming to claim it is for some reason. Guess it's a good time for indie to pick that up if someone wanted to do it. I'd play it!

I want a 90s glam/power metal cover of Cassette Beasts's Same Old Story. I think it'd lose something having the vocal trills replaced with howls, but I think it'd gain something too... I'd have to hear it to know for sure.

3 hours in a first attempt at A Single Fallen Feather. This was reaaaaal bad. I discovered the game has DQ style stats where you can breakpoint your ATK down to doing 0/1 damage and get stuck there and had to just stop and grind. Gotta review and figure out how to improve it.

Tragic: Game you have 75% routed for a speedrun may be getting an out of pocket update after years of being done. I have no idea if it'd be rude to just *ask* the dev this or not!
