2h18m in A Single Fallen Feather, with two deaths and some outright misreads of my route. I'm wobbling in the zone of "2:10 is free, 2:00 is starting to enter an actual okay speedrun with this route, and there may be better routing still" Surprisingly fun short RPG run.

I found my Big Bad Game-a-thon submission and have a 19:30 in it already. I just need to polish it for a submission video soon.

It'd be cool if someone made a sequel to Crazy Taxi. It's a shame that's not happening after all, despite people seeming to claim it is for some reason. Guess it's a good time for indie to pick that up if someone wanted to do it. I'd play it!

I want a 90s glam/power metal cover of Cassette Beasts's Same Old Story. I think it'd lose something having the vocal trills replaced with howls, but I think it'd gain something too... I'd have to hear it to know for sure.

3 hours in a first attempt at A Single Fallen Feather. This was reaaaaal bad. I discovered the game has DQ style stats where you can breakpoint your ATK down to doing 0/1 damage and get stuck there and had to just stop and grind. Gotta review and figure out how to improve it.

Tragic: Game you have 75% routed for a speedrun may be getting an out of pocket update after years of being done. I have no idea if it'd be rude to just *ask* the dev this or not!

I finished Sleeping Core. It took 3 hours total. It's a little rough as one would expect from a game jam game but was a neat thing to blitz through. Then randomly decided to get the RetroAchievements Rolan's Curse II mastery which looks tailor made for people who ran the game, hah.

I finished a playthru of A Single Fallen Feather in 5 hours flat and can now plumb the VOD for speedrun research. I'm eyeballing ~3hr for a run. I tried Sleeping Core from the same dev and immediately wrong-warped to a dev room. Welp. I just do this to games.

Go to an event where 4 out of 8 days I'm walking around in giant heels that make people go "How do you walk in those?!" and have no problem. Get home and on night one of being home stumble on the stairs and twist my ankle. It'd be funny if it wasn't so annoying.

I'm functional again post-RPGLB. We drove back, and I needed a day to recover. First thing I did when I got back was look up informed consent clinics, that's how my trip went, lmao. I'm less depressed and more motivated than I've been in years. Can you believe I almost didn't go to this?

I can say I've done a language restream now. What I thought I needed to know ahead of time and what I actually needed to know ahead of time were almost 100% different and I feel I did pretty poorly. But it's okay. It was fun. People enjoyed it. More love for janky games to pass around.
