as it turns out speedrunning celeste on linux and getting to the point of using spreadsheets to track progress thus needing an accurate split timer but being unable to get any other existing tools to work (theres only like three) is incredibly niche and posts about it are all like four years old

I've been trying to set up a Celeste auto splitting timer for speedrunning, which has involved crawling through memory addresses looking for relevant values. I've located the actual in game time, but it's been much harder to find the current level, for example, bc i cant exactly just search for "1"
