Milo smiled brightly. "It may not be native to Galar but grass-types are my specialty. Like how all you did is increase Exeggutor's speed." Now if Exeggutor knew Solar Beam...that was a different story between that speed boost and it not having to recharge. "So we should try to hurry this up+

That wasn't going to do much against another grass-type. But if that was the options, a healing move was a good idea. "Keep it up with Hyper Voice, Eldegoss!" They were both stuck in what they can do with this pair.

With no typing bonus and Eldegoss's insane special defense it hung out but it did lower it a little a an additional effect. It was still hanging on strong, though! Maybe passed half-health but hanging on strong. "I think we got this! Another Giga Drain!"

Naturally. It made sense to use the boost of grass-types moves when he had nothing super effective. But Blue just made a mistake. Reflect worked on physical attacks and only physical. Giga Drain wasn't a physical attack. "Hit them again, Eldegoss!"

And down Ludicolo went. Milo had nothing special for this. Nothing with a bug or dark move or resistance to. Might as well just do what he could! "Go! Eldegoss!" Not much chance Alakazam would use a physical move so back to being offensive. "Giga Drain!"

Milo gave his brother a smile. "And what matters most to me is my brother is happy."

"I'm mostly the first gym leader because I don't like beating challengers. But against an equal? It's all fun that I'm ready for!"

The water typing on Ludicolo saved it from being super effective but it still hit hard with how powerful it was. Milo's Pokémon was almost out in one hit. "Came prepared for me this time. Any of my other Pokémon would have been taken out by that. Let's see if one more will do it, Ludicolo!"

As expected but more chance for more of Blue's Pokémon to shine, right? Milo sent out his Ludicolo first. "You know what to do, Ludicolo! Seed Bomb!" It had only just begun and the gym leader was already excited.

The farmer grinned, stepping into his gym and grabbing his first Pokéball. "Ready for this?"

"Shall we, then? I'm curious what other Pokémon you got."

Milo laughed at that. "It's made to handle Dynamaxing. It would take a lot to wreck it."

"Sounds like fun to me! I usually only get to go all out at tournaments."
