“Nope!” She says, walking down the street with Nancy, eventually after a few blocks they reach a very lavish apartment building. “Here we are.”

Clara didn’t notice, or care. When they arrived at the ground floor she takes Nancy by the hand and leads her outside and began to walk down the street with her. “It’s just a couple blocks away.”

Clara smiles and takes her by the hand, leading her out of the office, which she locks, and leads her downstairs to the lobby. “Want to walk or should we have someone drive us?”

She looks over and nods, she stands up and puts the bottle away. “Of course, we should get going now before it gets dark out.”

𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔𝒏’𝒕 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒌𝒔~

“So am I.” Clara responds, finishing off the rest of her drink before setting the glass down, she had drank nearly half the bottle by herself. Oops. “Miss Wilson booked a hotel room for you not far from here.”

“Ja.” Clara says back, drinking some more as she leans back on the couch, letting herself get comfortable. “Sent me to Utah, then to Chicago, and now I bounce between here and Chicago.”

“I’m almost the same way, I try to do more things but I always find myself running back here.” She finishes off her drink and pours out some more for herself. “It gives me purpose.”

Uh oh—

“Same.” Clara says back, she gets up from the desk and walks over to the corner of the office which had a nice black leather couch. She then sits down. “Tell me a little about yourself.”

“A very long time.” She responds, sipping from her own glass. “I can’t even remember the first time we met it was so long ago now, basically known her my whole life.”

“A few years by now, you?” Clara responds, tacking on a question as she reaches over to the end of the desk to grab some drinks for them both. She pours two glasses and hands on to Nancy.

Clara smiles back and turns off the monitor, sitting down on the desk itself. “Ja, it seems so.” Something about Nancy struck a chord in her heart. “The plane will be ready in two days, then we fly out to Finland.”

“Ja, and please, just call me Clara.” She responds before turning the monitor back and flipping up an image, she then spins it to show Nancy. “Miss Wilson is working with Miss Abbas to obtain some vital information from Finland.”

A brief flash is pink crossed Clara’s cheeks as Nancy pointed out her accent. “Ja, that’d be correct. Miss Wilson filled me in on the assignment, she told me that two private investigators would be better than one for this.”

She shakes Nancy’s hand and motions her to the chair infront of her desk. “Clara Schreiber.” She responds, turning her monitor away from her so she can put her full attention on Nancy.

When Nancy opens the door to the office she finds a young woman sitting at a desk, she looks a lot like Freya did when she was younger. The woman’s head perks up. “Ah, Hallo Miss McAlister. Miss Wilson told me to be expecting you any minute now.”
