Now that the show is over, what was your favourite episode of 'PEACEMAKER' Season 2?

The Waller series is delayed right now. James Gunn says that "It’s just been a rough road. We’ll never greenlight something where the scripts aren’t working, and we just haven’t had that yet with the Waller show." (Via @ScreenBrief)

Checkmate will show up in other parts of the DCU. "You’ll definitely see Checkmate carrying through the DCU. They’re part of what’s going to happen." They present an alternative to governments and corporations like the Justice Gang, LuthorCorp and ARGUS.

Creature Commandos Season 2 will connect to the Salvation storyline too. "Oh, it’s in there. That’s being written now, and we’ve got the first couple of episodes. So that’s part of [the Salvation story], yeah."

Salvation and Checkmate have been part of James Gunn's DCU from the start. Gunn had these plans even before he became CEO of DC. He pitched it to David Zaslav very early on. After that, the DC Studios writers room helped him flesh it out further.
