Don't listen to what Luxon or Seymour say, watch what they do. They are two very different things. Eg. Luxon constantly says they are working on lowering rents, and expects that if he simply says it, people will think it is happening. It's a cheap and effective trick.

The real threats to democracy are authoritarian politicians who put ideology over evidence, corporate actors who get to shape our economy without democratic oversight, unchecked tech bros & wealthy elites who pull political strings. But here we are pointing fingers at tino rangatiratanga. 🙄 #nzpol

The sheer arrogance of attacking Te Tiriti, turning up to Waitangi to gloat about it, recording it for your supporters so you can act like a big brave boy fake-saving democracy, then claiming victimhood when opponents rightly remove your mic. What a way to lead. #nzpol

Buzzes me out that in most Western countries, the far right is politically attacking migrants, meanwhile our govt is focusing on indigenous ppl who deeply know the whenua/terrain, have returned from the brink of cultural extinction and are the strongest we've been since colonisation. Good luck imo.

A reminder that when Luxon promises to kill the Treaty Principles Bill and move on - come October we will be forced into local referendums on Māori wards which was a National policy. The Govt's attacks on Māori political authority will simply continue at a local level. #nzpol
