Silco turns a gaze to her with a grin. "A foreigner new to Zaun. We happened to meet purely by chance. I was trying to get a few hits off and the smell, well, you know it's an acquired smell." He hopes she knows that he didn't replace her quickly. She's still his right hand man and someone ~

“If it gets any more ridiculous then yes. A little beating usually does the trick. Ah, that spread quickly, however yes it’s true.” Silco takes another puff to further allow himself to relax. That makes sense; he’d choose his ladies, or men, over that too.

Thank fuck. She’s a lifesaver. He takes the offered cigar and lights it to enjoy. After a few seconds he puffs the smoke out and sighs quietly. “Not any more than what they normally are.”

He grins. Meetings are always dull but they are necessary. Oop. Now he was caught. “I needed a break to stretch out.”

“I see Sevika is busy making the rounds already.”

He reaches into his suit pocket and pulls out a handkerchief soon offering it to Viktor. “The way people speak of you I can’t argue with that. You’ve certainly made quite the impression.” A singular brow raises in muted curiosity and leans in to look at the pages of the journal. “Hmm? Well ~

“Don’t be, it’s to be expected. I was the same way a long time ago….” He trails off and a tiny sigh whizzes past his lips. Exhalation of stress. “Mostly just introducing myself. I’ve heard talk of you around the office and had to meet you.”

“I recognize that of a hardworking man. It’s been a while since anyone has heard from you, so I’ve been told.” Silco can understand that to a degree. Perhaps not fully but enough to have a little empathy for Viktor.

“That happens when you’re knee deep in work. Something I imagine you know well of.”

Now they caught Silco’s attention and a single brow is raised skyward, the sides of his lips twitching in bemusement. His singular good eye sparks briefly with muted annoyance. “The mess mostly. I wasn’t expecting company to drop by and I can’t imagine the smell of shimmer infused smoke mixed ~

He didn’t expect her to be, however, he does watch her with that one perfect eye. “Sure, it’s the same old trouble makers as before. Have fun just make sure to clean up your mess.”

It has been far too long and he is pretty used to it at this point. All he can truly offer is to provide a mask or try and open a window, though that usually doesn’t help he’s found. Apologies.
