Today marks seven years since a gunman opened fire at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, killing eleven congregates from Tree of Life, New Light, and Dor Hadash. Today, we remember and pay tribute to those who lost their lives in this act of hatred. Together, we are #StrongerThanHate.

With so much of our nation’s rich history rooted in the 10th Senate District, America 250PA was in Newtown this past week to present a grant to the Bucks County 250PA folks hard at work highlighting some of our region’s stories ahead of the semiquincentennial.

Congratulations to the three newest Eagle Scouts of Troop 10: Joshua Mrozinski, Matthew Sheridan and Louis Monaco, IV. I was honored to attend their Eagle Court of Honor and learn about their Eagle Scout projects, dedication to scouting and commitment to their community.

In Tyler State Park, a memorial has been erected to honor the life and legacy of Resource Ranger Alec Campbell, who passed away this summer in a kayaking accident in the park. The bench has a beautiful view of the park and is flanked by two newly planted chestnut trees in Alec’s memory.
