Thank you to everyone who attended Saturday's shredding event and food drive I hosted with Rep. Tina Davis in Bristol Township. In total, 4.5 tons of paper was shredded at the event, to be recycled into new product and United Way picked up the generous food donations to benefit neighbors in need.

Last week, Michael Telegin, a sophomore from Council Rock North High School spent the day in Harrisburg. It is always a pleasure to see students excited to learn about state government and I was happy to recognize Michael from the floor of the Senate, along with Senator Farry.

Please join me in congratulating the two newest Eagle Scouts of Troop 29 in Newtown, Brendan Meehan and Sean Boedewig. Both Scout's Eagle projects benefitted St. Andrew School in Newtown Township-- Brendan planted bushes and installed stones, and Sean installed a volleyball net.
