Jim's straight, and practicing. The fact that he's baseline decent enough to take consent seriously is part of what (eventually) lands him in a *thoroughly* matriarchal timeline. After abuse in a sanitarium, he's convinced he's pretty thoroughly ace. At least, with any woman in *that* world. 😞
