There are many things in Time Stranger that superficially some would expect I enjoyed them. Like, I named my Digimon blog after the concept of the Akashic Records, and I made posts discussing the concept years before it became relevant here. Did I like it in TS? Not really.

BlitzGreymon is a subspecies of WarGreymon that appears in the Other-Space known as "Akashic Backdoor". It's one of the Digimon added for the first DLC of Digimon Story Time Stranger's Season Pas.

Makoto is a child who can do anything, and so he struggles with the desire to live up to everyone's expectations of what he can do. As with other Digimon in Beatbreak, Chiropmon is his true self he wants to keep hidden, which is why Chiropmon mutters (1/2).

When it's about Digimon Battles, there's one who is god, the Holy Knight of the End Omegamon. The Greatest Ω (Omega) Carnival was made in honor of his strength. I wonder if there's chance of seeing an "Omegamon Battle Royal" added to the tournaments with Time Stranger's DLCs .

The first Time Stranger DLC being "Do you want more Omegamon?" is surely a choice. I hoped that the DLCs would be used to include Digimon that never had models before, but it seems to be more about adding Digimon that had already been used in previous projects.

Producer Shibata approached writer Ryōta Yamaguchi for Digimon Beatbreak, a series for an older audience. About 20 years ago, Ryōta worked in Digimon Savers, which was also born as a "new direction". Since he was interested in what new could be done, he accepted the offer.

Since I saw comments about it, saying that the name "Digimon Beatbreak" wasn't chosen for a music motif isn't to say that the series itself has no music motif. Tomoro represents his "beat" in the more abstract sense as the concept for the series, but also in a literal sense.

Whenever the topic "Is Digimon for children?" is discussed, the example I remember the post is when Konaka discussed the idea of "Tamers isn't for children", showing a very interesting idea of what counts as "children's material" and "adult's material" that isn't "dark content".

I remember questions on Digimon Beatbreak intent with AI, and from the latest interview, we learned more about what the director thinks about it, and his disappointment with its current state as nothing more than a mechanism to limit society and suppress uniqueness.

Takada's comment about Digimon Beatbreak having "an older target demographic, but that doesn't change much because children watch adult content anyway" reminded me of the same thing Hara said before. Seems like something both the game and anime branches of Digimon agree with.

Looking at the new material added to the Web Archive, I saw this early promotion for Digimon Adventure 02 merchandise from Bandai's monthly Gashapon News. It shows Chibimon's early name was Petitmon (プチモン). This name would later be used for Dracomon's Baby I stage.

It's something I said a few times before, but the ending of Cyber Sleuth, taking as a conclusion to the themes of the game, became the representation of how I approach Digimon. It's no joke in saying that without this last Suedo monologue, I likely wouldn't be who I am today.

Looking back at some posts I made before Time Stranger released, in hindsight, I feel like they didn't actually help as much as I wanted them to. It's a confusing feeling, but I think that maybe I should have done them in a different context.

Similarly, my favorite human characters in Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth were Suedo and Kyoko (That is, as much as we can call Kyoko human). Reading everything they said was really fun to me, but I understand it was mostly disliked, a reason why it decreased in Hacker's Memory.

Out of the human characters from Digimon Story Time Stranger, Dr. Simmons was the classic type of character I enjoy. A scientist who likes way too much what she researches and speaks a lot about it. But Hiroko was the one whom I really loved on her own, by far my favorite.

Something funny with Omegamon is that every time they try to portray him as a "warrior of justice/goodness itself", I remember his portrayal in the Digimon Chronicle storyline and related materials like X-Evolution and Decode. Especially this exchange with Dukemon X in Decode.

An official account on seem to have opened on Weibo, and the first thing I noticed was that in Hudiemon's profile they released, they seem to have used the low-res image from the website, and the contrast of the template being high-res, but the Digimon being fully pixeled is big.

While playing Digimon Story Time Stranger, I took screenshots of almost everything I experienced, and before reaching the end, I already got more than 13k images, which I thought was quite impressive compared to my previous projects. I wonder if I'll get 14k or 15k after the end.

As a fun detail, originally, when Kenji Watanabe was drawing what would become Digimon, Bandai requested that they be Pokémon-like. However, he created something so similar to Pokémon that Bandai couldn't release it with them. After drawing inspiration from American comics, he made Digimon.

Every time I write Gekkomon, I fear that I forgot the double K there and always check to see if it's there. I think there'll be a day while writing some long threat that I'll forget, as it's almost usual with how much I end up writing about Digimon here.

A time when I got "What happened?" in Time Stranger was when, after doing many boss fights with Digimon immune to instadeath moves, for some reason, one that isn't appears, and at the start of the fight, it randomly dies. At least, I was happy to use Lucemon SM to see it.

Usually, Digimon protagonists are positive and hero-like, but Beatbreak's Tomoro isn't intended to be like that initially. He is intended as a more closed person who builds walls to not interact with others and keep his feelings for himself, which results in anguish.

"Digimon X-Evolution" is going to be distributed again on YouTube, commemorating 20 years. Director Kakudou shared the storyboards he had found, which go in line with his past commentaries. Originally, it was named "Digimon Chronicle" and was divided into 3 parts, with about 370 pages of storyboard.

These were some of my favorite Digimon I used in Time Stranger so far (I'm very close to the ending), there's one particular Digimon that I used the most since getting it and has been by far my favorite, but I think it hasn't been shown officially yet.

I rewatched an Italian interview with Kenji Watanabe about mainly Digimon from the Florence Games Festival, and funny enough, he shared how fans told him that they could get away with Angewomon in their homes when they were young by telling their moms, "Hey, it's just a Digimon".

In Time Stranger conversation might trigger a unique dialogue (With me, usually the first dialogue after evolving), and it usually ties with the lore for the Digimon. I hope that a list with all the dialogue choices gets made soon, as I get really curious. Some were really fun.

The first Digimon I wanted to have in Time Stranger was Junomon, because I liked her new official art, but I had to completely train her again after evolving and seeing her main attacks were physical to see her victory animation. Regardless, using a lot of Digimon has been fun.

Right now, I'm doing the last side quests before finishing Digimon Story Time Stranger (And evolving the last Digimon I want to use before the ending). After I finish it all, I'll make a main post with my pseudo-review of the game and an archive for my Game Diary.

From the new Terriermon Assistant video, they show a few easter eggs in Digimon Story Time Stranger, which shows the attention to detail with past works that can surprise anyone. Such as BigMamemon's attack being inspired by an old card, and KingWhamon appearing in the Abyss Area. #Digimon

Evolving all my Digimon and not spending some time to first rise their levels once again has proven to make this way more difficult than it should be... But honestly, seeing all my Digimon being one-shotted by random attacks was still funny.
