Today, Ukraine's Air Command West has published so far unseen (combat) footage of the fourth German-delivered Skynex fire unit operated by the 223rd Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment, including a video which proves the prior claimed interception of a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile.

1/2 — Russia has released video footage (video 1) intended to prove the destruction of the Gepard 1A2, who's video many have seen in May 2026 (video 2). I'm no geolocator, but the surroundings look right to me, and it's definitely a destroyed vehicle on a Leopard 1 chassis.

1/3 — Brief update on the pledged Skyranger 35 SPAAGs on Leopard 1 chassis and Ukraine: According to a recently published press release from Rheinmetall, the system has not yet been delivered to Ukraine.

Germany's Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) has delivered eight vehicles to the Kherson Oblast to support utility and emergency services in the region. Another four vehicles will be handed over in the — likely near — future.

1/2 — The German city of Bremen together with the Stiftung Solidarität Ukraine foundation, the German Society for International Cooperation and another partner supported rehabilitation care in the Odesa region.

Following the signing of a €3.2 billion contract in April 2026, we now know how many PAC-2 GEM-T missiles Germany will donate to Ukraine over the following four years. According to President Zelenskyy, Germany will donate 600 Patriot missiles. This was announced by him in an interview with 1+1.

🧵 1/4 — Ukraine's Air Command West has announced that a Cheetah PRTL crew (seems like the 1021st Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment) has managed to destroy 17 Shahed OWA UAVs in a single night during combat operations in the Khmelnytskyi region.

It appears that the field tests of the modified Leopard 1A5BE, which began in March 2026 in Ukraine, have gone well. The 30 C3105 turrets, which have now been ordered, will significantly upgrade the Ukrainian Leopard 1A5 tanks supplied by Germany, the Netherlands, and Denmark.

In case the CNIM employee has not forgotten about the German 2022 contract, six of the seven ROCUS UGVs financed by the German government and delivered throughout 2023 are still in service in Ukraine, assisting the armed forces in route clearance and demining operations.

The 148th Artillery Brigade, which belongs to Ukraine's 8th Air Assault Corps, has shared new images of one of their M142 HIMARS MLRS in action. Unknown to many people, in mid-2024, the German government has funded three M142 HIMARS from US stocks for Ukraine. /147

This week, at Helsing’s invitation, I was in southern Germany, where I had the opportunity to visit the secret facility where the HX-2 loitering munitions for Ukraine and other countries are manufactured, while the CA-1 Europa and other topics were also on the agenda.

The German city of Cologne together with the German-Ukrainian association Blau-Gelbes Kreuz e.V. and the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia has donated 11 fully equipped ambulances to four districts in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Upon inquiry regarding my article, a spokesperson for the German Ministry of Defence declined today to comment on either the sums involved or the type of ammunition being funded. Reason: “To safeguard the military security of all parties involved”.
