🚨 Webinar Alert 🚨 EUDF is hosting an important webinar: “The EU Safe Hearts Plan: Advancing Diabetes Care Across Europe.” This session will explore the EU Safe Hearts Plan and discuss how it can strengthen #diabetes and #obesity care across Europe.

On 16 December, the European Commission unveiled its long‑awaited EU Safe Hearts Plan. One of its pillars focuses on early detection and screening, including the development of an EU protocol for health checks. This is a milestone EUDF and the diabetes community have advocated for over many years.

🚨EUDF responds to the European Commission’s call for evidence for the European Cardiovascular Health Plan! #Diabetes, #obesity, and #cardiovascular disease (CVD) are closely linked chronic conditions that often coexist and exacerbate one another.

🤝 Today, we had a pleasure of meeting with Lorena Boix Alonso, Deputy Director-General of the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety. 🩵 We discussed the upcoming European Cardiovascular Health Plan set to address #cardiovascular diseases, #diabetes and #obesity.
