the urge to replay Ocarina of Time

#EvilDeadBurn is the most brutal Evil Dead yet and, after Raimi's films, probably the most auteur-driven. The camerawork and visual tricks are fantastic. It takes a few storytelling shortcuts, but combine Vaniček's gore with Raimi's humor and you'd have the perfect Evil Dead.

People making engagement bait will post something like, "One of the greatest movies of the century. Absolute masterpiece. No wonder it got such incredible reviews," and then attach the most soulless, generic CGI fight scene imaginable from a movie sitting at like 20% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Another indie recommendation, which I played earlier this year: Tyrant's Realm. It's a roguelite soulslike with visuals inspired by the original PlayStation era. Thankfully there are no tank controls or other old-school frustrations. #indiegame

If you're a fan of Eggers, or simply enjoy folk horror stories, set aside an hour or two for Daemonologie. You've got five days to find a witch in a small village - and that's all I'm going to say. The screenshot should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect. #indiegames

OH MY GOD, AND SAWYER IS LEADING THE PROJECT

I just watched The Fisher King. I love all the Arthurian mythology references, Robin Williams's performance, but above all the film's fairy-tale aesthetic and the narrative structure that Gilliam employs, with the finesse of a 13th-century French bard.
