In Hyde, Greater Manchester. There's said to be a phantom lorry that haunts a short stretch of Mottram Road since the 1920s, running people off the road. Cars along the same stretch were said to move themselves too! #phantomsfriday

My first October walk was a good un. A quick pre-work wander, but I found some interesting bits & pieces. As funky as the mushrooms 🍄 look, I was more surprised by chestnuts in Mottram I've never ever seen them anywhere near this area before. Not by miles! #walking #autumn #mushrooms

I had a quick family walk today to a spot called 'Marple Roman Lakes' (SPOILER ALERT: not actually Roman 😁) and it turned out to be a fantastic spot for a wander! There are lots of old mill ruins and history in the area. I'll be back for sure with my camera.

My new quiet walk is up. It's all country lanes, surrounded by lovely views, wind in the trees, a few hills and reservoirs, two mushrooms, and a few sheep! If you need to zone out to something that requires zero thought, but looks great, then give it a try, there's no talking and no humans at all.

I had a quick wander around a spot in Ashton-Under-Lyne yesterday, whilst I was in the area. It was raining a lot, but I had a coat on didn't I! 😄 It's called Chadwick Dam, just around the back of Stamford Park boating lake, in Tameside, Greater Manchester. #peaceful #walking #manchester

I've been out and done some more folklore filming! I'm in it again, I'm afraid 😁 Another Legend of Longdendale.. but Godley Green is in Greater Manchester. Which historically was part of Longdendale.. which is now part of the Peak District.. but wasn't in 1906.. because it didn't 'exist' yet.. 😅

I've just finished putting this together from my walk out a couple of days ago: A 10 minute calming video floating over the snowy Wild Bank Hill overlooking the Peak District. Please do give it a watch and hopefully you'll feel wound right down by the end of it.
