Today I was the best. Final Fantasy 8 Any% world record speedrun - 8'18"26 This is everything to me. Years in the making, and it happened on my birthday of all days. Thank you to everyone who believed in me, even when I didn't believe in myself. Here's me crying about it 🙂🤠🥳🇦🇺

first PB in almost 2 years, but it doesn't matter because I missed wold record by 15 seconds. I'm completely devastated, all I can do is get a good night's sleep and try again. Thanks for your support everyone 🤔😩😩😐😐😐😐🤠🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

It's interesting that not too long ago, getting a sub 8:20 in FF8 meant the world to me. Today, after having not played in almost 2 weeks, I not only did it again, but this run had an incredibly reasonable chance of being world record. Bittersweet but it's a good sign that I can still do it 🤔🤔🤔😅😅🤠🤠🤠
