I wonder what Guillermo would think about this series. He made The Shape is Water which is basically what this is but with the genders swapped and set in the Doctor Who universe. I know there's differences but it's a lovely story about humans and fishfolk. Salt is basically Ariel at this point.

I'm absolutely loving #TheWarBetween although I did have some rather big suspicions about Salt, mainly that she was a siren that would betray the human race with those "dead eggs" taken to the lab. Could still happen I guess, like with Ted's Trojan Horse. The eggs will awaken and CONSUME!
