once upon a time (last year) ive done an oldschool vocaloid official art ("KEI" art) style study to me, the trick to this style is to separate like base, shadow and highlight into their own layers, and then use alpha lock to actually COLOR the shadows etc, while keeping the same SHAPE its interestin
