I haven’t drawn anything in a month or so. I have played a lot of guitar though.

This girl has been catching rabbits in the back yard and proudly bringing them to me a lot this week. She doesn’t seem to be hurting them but she’s definitely traumatizing them. It’s impressive though. She’s so fast.

I love the houses in my neighborhood. The design and craftsmanship of Victorian architecture is pretty amazing. I’m a real sucker for anything with a real palatable sense of history though.

An old acrylic painting. All the dark streaks and drips are a result of someone throwing a cup of coffee at it. I guess it’s just part of the painting now.

I bought an electro-shock therapy machine from the 1930’s. It fits the theme of my guest room pretty well.

Not art yesterday. I made pies and baked bread instead. Here’s a logo illustration gig I did recently though.

My mom saved every weird drawing I did when I was a kid. This is one of the earliest drawings I could find and the latest one I’ve done. I need to call her today and thank her for archiving artwork and tolerating me.

I was given a 10 foot by 36 foot backdrop roll of really thick panne paper left behind after some filming wrapped up at a telethon. I don’t know how well it will work yet but I’m going to try to do some rather gigantic drawings on it. Has anyone drawn on this stuff before?

4/30/25, 4/28/25 These are the most painfully corny pages I drew in April.

4/28/25 sketchbook portraits. Horace and Jennie Clark. I live in a beautiful old Victorian era house that these two owned and lived in from 1895-1940. Horace owned a coal mine and charcoal factory and Jennie made the best rhubarb pie. I assume.

Monday, April 14 sketchbook page. Cute and harmless. I was sorting through hundreds of 78rpm records yesterday and kept seeing the mercury records mascot from the 40’s and 50’s “the mercury man”on record sleeves and I did this take on it.

My mom always asks me if ever draw anything “nice”. I’m working on that but last nights drawing got pretty “hail satan” looking. Sorry mom. Tonight I have to try to draw something cute and happy.
