Thorn, the scourge of Witherbrooke, a creature of pure malice and pain. Its darkness consumes the forest day by day, drawing near the end of this illustrious world.

Azlir, an ancient Jackalope who takes Bloom under his wing, acting as their teacher/father figure. Though old and saged,Azlir has not lost his enthusiasm for discovery.

Bloom, the protagonist of Witherbrooke. A whimsical, curious, energetic creature with a wide eyed naivety and sense of wonder for the forest.
