It's #FwuffapotamusFriday friends! I hope you spent it in whatever way you wanted today. Bear and I had lunch with the kids and then they went for a short walk (it was super cold and windy). I napped off a sinus headache, finished a quilt top, and had a bowl of mac and cheese.

Happy Thanksgiving! Skitter "helped" me pull the pork for today, and had *7* little forkfuls for herself!

New quilt in progress. This one is pretty simply constructed but the visual effect is super cool. And I love the tiny, super detailed pattern in the one. The solid is actually an aqua color, but I know it kinda looks almost white.

I was communing with the bees that are enjoying my aster that's still blooming despite hard freezes and saw this one. I snapped a pic and he turned to me with this expression of "What is wrong with you? Do you not see me trying to eat here?!" (Seriously - zoom in!) 😅

I went on a crepe date with Bear yesterday (we have this little place we love) and while waiting outside for a table, I was testing out the "off road" capabilities of my new electric wheelchair. It's light, carbon fiber, but my original one said it had "off road" tires and definitely did not. (1)

I'm not really supposed to be looking at a screen because I got a concussion yesterday, but I love being back and reading posts from my friends. 🩵🩵🩵

Ah, hell, friends. My grandcat, FitzJiji was busted at the New Year for petty larceny. Now, this week, he was caught by a red-light camera speeding and driving recklessly. I keep hoping he'll get back on the straight and narrow!

I'm back! I have missed my friends so much. Work has been a mess, I'm having surgery on Thursday that's going to kinda shut my life down for about 3 months, we miss Joplin every day, but we're otherwise ok. Jenks and Skitterboo are amazing as always and I'll post a bunch of pics etc for our friends.

It is with a shattered heart that I convey the loss of our beloved Joplin. She was our queen, our dragon, our calico baby. We are beyond devastated.
